Did you watch Palace at all in 2016? The results didn't come. A win here or there. Fact is we were the worst of all 92 teams in 2016 (granted if we were playing teams in League 2 that would be different, but still, what an achievement). Swansea was a woeful game. The boos in my opinion were a few months too late, Pardew should have endured them for most games since September. I am not sure what sort of leader/ manager PArdew is but look at the state of the team. Did he ever coach defending - questionable, but he did mention that he wasnt worried about clean sheets (obvs when you look at the results). Was he a tactical mastermind, hardly, minutes from a draw at home to Man U and we throw on a striker, seconds later we are losing. Fitness, what on earth is that? So many goals conceded late on - against Swansea (yes yes, the turn around was quick) they were cream crackered from about the tenth minute. We have been here before, we know what relegation looks like, sadly i fear it is coming (I hope not). Cant blame that on a man who has inherited this mess. Top post!

Wasn't it the same against Swansea the other night? Even though is was like for like with Campbell and Benteke in striker terms. If you look hard enough in defeats, you can always see errors that may have contributed, but is not always a direct result of the defeat. Edited by Flightsequence (06 Jan 2017 9.25am)

Much improved performance second half, both from the players and the fans. Showed glimpses of the pride and passion that has been missing lately.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Should not have sacked Pardew, someone has got to be joking, the worst performing team and manager in the whole of the football league over a period of 12 months, did not care about letting in goals, bought in players with sick notes in their pockets or they were not good enough to play first team football at their previous clubs, stated the owners (Parish excluded) did not understand football, destroyed a good defending team to one that conceded more goals than most, used the ancient long ball tactics and despite all this still thought he was an experienced top six manager, what dream world do some people live in, the only question should be why did Parish not do it earlier for example at the end of last season and then we may not have been in this dire position!
