Sam has such a badly flawed character, it pains me severely to know that he has been put in charge of a quality football squad that had a one of a kind honest, honorable manager who gave the whole organization a fabulous feel of top notch character and a wonderful example for other young people. It totally disgust me now. Pardew the role model setting an example. Never heard that before. Are you alright? You haven't banged your head on the door frame have you?

He's done well with limited squads. Ours is better than what we inherited before. The immediare run of games (bar Arsenal) should allow us a decent handful of points. Hopefully a good LB and other defensive players will arrive in January. Cant wait for the clean sheets to arrive!

I was neither Pardew in or out to be honest, but think a change can't hurt. I don't think any manager could mitigate the momentum entail amount of individual defensive errors we've seen recently. But there we are, players win you games, managers lose you games. So you didn't want Pardew in? But you didn't want him out either?
Yannick Bolasie - Glenn Murray - Wilfried Zaha Most exciting attacking trio at Selhurst Park in years. |

I don't hate fat sam, I just dislike his managerial style. He can get his teams to defend well but he doesn't really bring anything more. In my opinion, he is not really an upgrade on Pardew, he will improve our defense, but I don't believe he'll take us much higher in the league At a guess this season he doesn't have to if the season ended now with the league position it's enough. I think before we would have got relegated with the form & current trend all based on ifs buts & maybes but not looking likely to avoid.

Anyone who hasn't been fired from the England team for being a d**k would be great!

Remember how Sunderland turned us over last year at Selhurst? Allardyce came with a plan and they followed it and won. Lets hope that he starts doing that for us. That has to better than just waiting for the opposition to score like it has been this season.

Sam will apparently improve our defence but won't take us much higher in the league. Surely if the defence is improved we will automatically go up the league as our problem has been conceding soft goals.

With the nation overall being happy with his England appointment, gettting the right man and all that, I struggle to understand why not here. Yes he's slippery but let's face it all those on this board calling him this that and the other for his actions , you been whiter than white all your lives haven't you. Best manager out there at the moment anyone else and we're resigned to the lower leagues for sure.

I think he was the only option really. I don't care how slippery he is. It doesn't bother me at all. What does bother me is the style of football he has played at other clubs. I just want to be entertained. That's what I pay my money for.
