I'd say the defensive frailties are also when passed in triangles at the back between full back and 2 outfield players. It's usually left back, whether left or right footed. There is also issues away from home being caught on the counter when taking corners. It isn't simply mark up, you go here and we're done. I think there is a general lack of thought by management and players of consequences of where and what they do. They've become care free in general. And the lack of backing up a teammate, that's evident, in possession as well. A full back in the final 3rd with no passing options. The fixtures can't be that kind. Last time I looked, and I'm trying not to, just like I didn't look at the table after Everton, our run in was pretty much against the top 7. This Autumn we've had easier teams away and harder teams at home. Is it reverse next year at some point? I remember reading and agreeing we need to be safe by late March just like others who've been relegated needed to be. This is what concerns us regarding Pardew. There's no thought of next week or beyond. Nah f*** it, everyone attack the corner or bomb forward. I do get the feeling Parish has been holding his breath he'll make it to the January window and bring in a few additions. Now we've beaten Southampton he's closer to that. Cover a few of the positions and the excuse options will disappear. But we've seen full strength Pardew teams not deliver or be poorly prepared so its not t going to mean definite top 10, but I'd hope it would mean no more risky losing runs that can get longer and longer. Last 6 games are something like Leicester (h) Liverpool Burnley (h) city hull (h) utd , and for the whole 2nd half pretty much alternates between top half and bottom half. Can't have no complaints with how our fixtures fall.

Chelsea away from April 1st and just before what you've listed which are going to be a really difficult 3 games, but I agree the last 6 alternate between big and smaller clubs, and the smaller ones are at home, a reverse of now. But it's their strategy that matters.

Evidence? what do you want a video? i know for a fact that the players tore into Pardew and two senior players organised the defence and told him how its got to be. They were due light training Friday but went in and did a full day working with the back four as turned out on Saturday. Am told Pardew is quite strict and likes things his way but i will give him credit for listening to them but i don't think he had a choice.i think he had to change his pants early Thursday afternoon. Any evidence? Please post the link. Or a link to the source. Or stfu! No back-up = bulls***e! edit: I also will take this opportunity to point out that you regularly call out Willo for being "in the know". But you probably know that. Where does the "rumour" come from? Is there anyone who can substantiate this? Or is it just bull?

You can either believe people who go to away games or not. Hambo wouldn't make anything up. He wouldn't be really critical of a manager to the point he thought his time was up unless he thought it was warranted.

I am not going to divulge my source on an open forum as he works at the club. i dont need to make up bulls*** i leave that for attention seekers. I just found it shocking that Pardew was clueless and the players sorted things out. Thye truth will come out eventually.

Threads like this one make me laugh. 6 straight defeats, shipping 5 goals to the bottom club, no clean sheet for 17 matches and the worst league playing record of all football league clubs in 2016 FFS! We get one fortuitous win to end that abysmal streak and here we are being told to "get a grip"? Priceless!

Put the Cup Wins in to your figures, follow Alans record from the Dover game and it's far better reading.

It shows a worrying and rapid decline in PL results over an extended period, abject failure to get anywhere in the League Cup and a decent run in the FA Cup, against teams that weren't sacrificing league form to progress, until we got to the final where we saw a manager more interested in dad-dancing than winning a trophy. Have I missed anything?
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Have I missed anything? Blimey your struggling now.We sacrificed the two League Cups and now your bringing up the dance.!! You remind me of Charlton Fans wanting to move to the next level. Enjoy where we are at the moment.
