Common knowledge that Bob Bradley's day's are apparently numbered at Swansea already and that Big Sam is being discussed as a likely replacement.
How many games has Bradley been in charge before they consider sacking him??
Pardew with his staggering poor performance during 2016 is very, very fortunate to have the support of Parish and should not have been so naive or stupid to have insulted the American investors, and may not have the backing should he go on a bad run again.

Can you imagine this scenario ?

Swansea appoint Allardyce and he keeps them up.
We persevere with Pardew and he takes us down.

One can only imagine the vitriol this would generate !

I think he probably made the comments based on the fact that he doesn't have the backing of the investors but they don't have the final say on his job, Parish does.

I can imagine it very well, hence my comment that yesterday's win, welcome as it was, may not be in the best interests of us surviving this season. I genuinely hope I'm wrong and Pardew oversees a dramatic upturn in fortune, but given his record to date I'm not hugely optimistic.

That may be so, but publicly dissing the Americans might mean they put irresistible pressure on Parish to get rid if and when the next bad run comes along.

But don't forget, if the do sack him, it’s not a reflection on him, it’s because they don’t understand football.

I'm genuinely not sure. does seem a daft thing to say if it wasn't planned and he doesn't strike me as daft. That's not to say he said it in order to get the sack and a pay off but there may be other motives behind it.

I suspect there's boardroom tension between the Parish/Pardew axis and some other investors, especially the ones AP chose to publicly embarrass. My guess is Parish wasn't best pleased with what AP said and will now have to smooth things over with the Americans behind closed doors.

Pardew won the battle yesterday but may have harmed his own long-term position with his ill-advised post-match comments about Harris & Blitzer.

Of course. Getting your excuses in early is never a bad tactic

He's just saying what we all think about the Yanks.

They probably don't even know how the offside trap works properly still.

A bit like our defenders

That is the point that I have been trying to make as Pardew isn't the best in front of the media and has said a number of daft things in various press conferences.

Why would he deliberately have a public dig at the people who pay him his vast salary as that would be an incredibly stupid thing to do and he's not that daft. If it were a deliberate dig and if we lost against Hull it would put Parish in the position where he would have to sack him and I'm sure that's not what he wants

You've kinda contradicted yourself there ME. You say he's not good with the media and has said daft things before. Then you say he's not so daft to deliberately call out Harris & Blitzer. If he says daft things but this one isn't daft, then why did he say it?

They care about results. That's where they will make judgements

Obviously SP has been a conduit to inform them during this bad run

But this match by match comment by comment action by action
Commentary on here serves as no more than a pressure valve for disgruntled fans. That what HOL is for. But sometimes people take these kind of interviews too seriously

What do you know what bothers/annoys them and what doesn't?

As they said on Sunday Supplement, I don't know why he didn't go the whole hog and say 'sorry if you are expecting touch downs'
Of course he insulted the Americans. Question is are they thick or thin skinned?
Something tells me the next time we start losing games on the spin he wont be permitted to get to 6 games next time and still be in a job.
I'd suggest after the run we have been on it is AP that doesn't seem to know a lot about football.
