I think that's the only reason he's lasted so long tbh...surely there are 3 better candidates than those 3??

Willo I have never met him, But have formed my opinion in listen to the man and his attitude coupled with the opinion and information from people from inside the club that do deal with him on a day to day basis. Things like his pre match interviews where he dictates what questions can be asked. have you ever wondered why no one ever questions the terrible run in 2016 during his interviews? I am obviously biased as I want my club to do well And that wont happen under Pardew on a consistent basis

Medway Eagle

Thank you for your elucidation regards Pardew.

I don't think managers who get sacked (especially for poor performance) ever get the balance of their contract paid up in full. There's always a severance clause built in. Whatever that clause provides, I can't see AP having a cat in hell's chance of successfully contesting it.

There is likely a requirement upon the manager to mitigate his loss.

I have also heard negative comments about Pardew as a man. He seems to flaunt his sexual peccadilloes for a start.

Why do people think that the only managers available are the three mentioned on here regularly? It's time to get our big PL c*ck out and swing it about as bait. Look overseas like Southampton seem to be able to do and Swansea in recent years. There are hundreds of managers out there that we could go for.

Haven't we all.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Pardew has been found out tactically and I wonder whether he will be able to secure any win for us in the next 4games.
Better to get rid of after Saturday's inevitable defeat against Southampton and negotiate the best severance deal.Madness to have given him such a generous contract last year after he nearly took us down last season, but that's history.
Time to bring in Big Sam who at least will have the ability to keep us up,although this will be increasingly challenging the longer any decision is delayed before Parish sacks his mate ,Pardew. Some legacy Pardew will leave us as we now face a real fight to stay up.

They line their managers and players up 2 years in advance. We obviously do not.

The West Ham photographer's account of Pardew gives you a clue.

Telling those close to him at the pre-match hotel dinner table the night before that if their meals look better they'd better swap.

Fonte and ......

Farcical Parish extended his contract to last for another 5 years. What's wrong with 2?

More than that, because you've got to take account of the fact that getting back into the Premiership with so completely f***ed-up a squad will be a serious feat of porcine aviation.
