I beg to differ ... we are NOT playing OK. There have been some recent games where we've not turned up first half and also some diabolical mistakes in most games. We are losing but worst of all, it looks to me as though the team do not know what they are doing at times.

Willing to let Pardew have a chance but ffs there has to be a limit to his incompetence.

Hoof Hearted 25 Nov 16 11.25am

Interested to hear Pardew's take on WBA's absolute stuffing of Burnley 4-0 whereas we struggled against Burnley and lost 3-2.

We know that AP is not aiming for clean sheets I guess.

Maybe he didn't get the right message to the team before they kicked off at 3pm?

I would also be interested to hear from all those people that still insist that we are better off with Pardew rather than Pulis.

On the contrary the results are an entirely accurate reflection of how we're playing; they and the table are the two things that never lie.

AP thinks he is Wenger and can play this flowing football and if you concede it doesn't matter we will score more plus just like Wenger he has no proper plan b.

He has tried to change to quickly plus a lot of the players are not being used to their strengths he is forcing them to be something they are not.

I would love it if the guy was sacked his ego is way too big he needs putting in his place he is not a great manager at all.

I no longer even listen to his interviews it's same rubbish over and over again.

And back and forth we go. "His" incompetence??

Townsend poor pass to Kelly who plays the ball across his back line. Nobody on posts, no-one to cut out a low front post corner, no-one marking Toure.

It ain't just his is it.

Usually over a season though Bexley. It's why the best team wins the league but not necessarily the cups (well at least in days gone by..)

"Connor got the injury and that affected us"

Sounds like an excuse. Only problem is we were 4-3 up well after that Al. And if it had stayed 4-3 no doubt you would have turned it around and said the lads dug in for Connor.

Time to go Al you absolute muppet.

Wickham defends better than Benteke.
Seriously, what do you want him to say? The injury did affect us as 4-4-2 looked to be working. Now we can't even try it again because it would mean playing Campbell.

To be honest, I didn't really hear any clear excuses after the match. I read that as Pardew knowing he was finished.

We have played very well in spells never for the whole game the defending has got worse and yesterday was the final straw. The whole team has lost its focus the only way to change that is a new manager.

See a few people saying you're performing well and it struck a chord. When Pardew was at Newcastle there were fans saying that there's hope of improvement because of the individual performances we were seeing.

The trouble is, if we were seeing players performing well it tended to be because they were playing for themselves. Trying to drag the side over the line on their own. The defence kept shipping goals so the attackers would try and take responsibility.

The fans would say we're making a lot of opportunities at set pieces and it's just bad luck we were conceding at the other end! We we taking loads of shots! We're trying to get the ball into the box as quickly as possible!

We kept conceding and never scored at set pieces which means the coaches weren't drilling the side. We had a high number of shots, but mostly from sub-optimum areas. We had a high number of crosses and long balls into the box, when in truth, with the players we had, we'd have been better off carving our opportunities on the deck because the ball kept being easily cleared.

End of the day the good individual performances on the pitch were making up for a fundamentally flawed coaching approach off it.

I hope for your sakes Parish does the right thing and gets shot of the charlatan so that the new man can make any necessary changes to the squad in the window. You've a top half squad there, and shouldn't be nervously eyeing the red dotted line.
