Can you please let me know exactly what job AP is supposed to be doing, Only reading most of your posts and it seems that in your view AP does noth9ng but watch the game, Sorry I though he was supposed to manage the way we play and peoples roles

..I'm sure he watches very well and I'm then very sure he informs them of their mistakes and problems, he then tells them on the training ground exactly how it is, the problem he and us are having is that these same players are probably not making these silly mistakes on the training ground and are just having them on the actual day of the game, this is basically down to the fact that one or two of them are not able to concentrate fully and engage their feet fully against players they don't face on the training ground.

Hence Mr Pardew telling us clean sheets are not a priority.

i do wonder sometimes about our fans - when pulis & freedman were manager we all whined about dull games, 1-0 then park the bus, now we have a manager who appears to be trying to change us to be more attacking and we still whine! some people need to get a grip a bit we are a if we are lucky a lower premiership team, enjoy it for f**ks sake..

Sometimes I set out for Ludlow
Sometimes I end up in Chepstow

I didn't complain about Pulis until he left under a cloud - that was the thing that anoyed me.
I know they are older now but Dann, Delaney and Ward were all there under Pulis - left back and Goalie are different.
Then they were solid yet now they look all at sea - why?
No defensive midfielder in front of them doesn't help and now a Manager who says clean sheets don't matter anyway.
You couldn't make it up!

He has until Xmas now to save his job. If we are down with the dead men then, the owners will pull the plug no matter their relationship, past history with the club etc. Warnock went the same way. No chance will they look for entertainment over possible relegation.

Agree exactly with what Dolphin says about Pulis, We knew exactly what we were going to get, It was a great last season, And consistency was the name of the game. Also agree with what an ass--e he was for doing what he did

Agree with the OP completely, can't believe the arrogance of the man. He's basically saying 'my way or the highway', I'll take the highway thanks

He's such an arrogant old t***. Stop making out you know what Palace fans want and get some results. You're not f***ing Guardiola (btw, try and play against his mob next game and we'll be f***ing battered).

..it is very frustrating to read, it's so obvious that losing is not something our players and manager want and it's so obvious our players and manager get on together and it's so obvious we deserve more points in almost every single game Mr Pardew has managed the team during draws and losses, just look and read all the reports of all the games..we are the majority of times always in it and fighting to the death, fans just love having someone to blame and to put their anger on, our problems are tiny in comparison to the problems of last season and it doesn't matter where any average team is in the table at this moment in time just as long as they continue to look like scoring every time they go forward and they are not cut adrift.

We are a tiny club with a tiny stadium and have tiny fans with huge expectations.

Wow has he lost the plot or what, Now stating that clean sheets have never been his priority and we rather than moan, should sit back and watch the entertaining type of football we are playing, I though the first rule of football was not to concede goals.

In any case as a real supporter. I just like to see my team win, That might be lucky or not any way it comes is fine by me. If it came to a choice of exciting football but losing and leaking goals most games, that's not for me. I actually go to all home and some away games to watch my team win, I get no pleasure out of saying beaten 4-2 but didn't we do well, that don't work for me, So sooner he goes the better.

Blackpool and Wigan played entertaining football. I'd be prepared to be entertained by a dogged defence and a quick counter. I don't want the opposition to be entertained.

Maybe we are being harsh.

If we win 5 - 1 every game I wouldn't moan.
