Must be covered by 'jumps at in a careless or reckless manner' which results in a direct free kick

Not the end of the world at 1-0. They look sharper up front than us. Ledley looks a little off the pace - perhaps him to make way at half time.

He often looks off the pace to me.

Can't remember any attempts on goal in open play from either side.

I wouldn't say "awful". They are a good outfit and they've had us under a lot of pressure. We could've conceded a hatful against these but we're still in it. We are still giving the ball away too much though.

Looks like a case of Cabaye on for Ledley I think.

Ref = t***.

Second half we need McArthur higher, don't need two cdm's. Koeman is setup for our wing play so should hit them central.

Of course it was a free kick. Lucky delaney didn't take his head off stupid chsllenge. If that was us you'd be screaming fora free kick.

We're being outplayed by a very very good team, but we're still in it. Need to see more from townsend second half and bring cabaye on for ledley.

I think we're defending well but we need to try and offer more going forward. Townsend is not having a great game but on the plus side I think Zaha has looked dangerous. Bentenke is working hard on scraps.

I know there are a lot of drive-by abusers, but I would swap Ledley for Cabaye. He is capable of playing some through balls that could split the Everton defence and Ledley has looked out of sorts tonight.

I was thinking the same. Would he have given a penalty if it had been in the box?

Jagielka handled the ball. Don't know what game your watching

..we look OK and it's only because of the ref that we are losing, we controlled absolutely everything they did, a few times Ledley got us in trouble so he needs to be more careful but both sides have kept each other out, shame we couldn't do the same with Moss.

It's becoming A women's game.

Not to bad defensively by the back four and midfield. Problem is our attacking play and being able to control up front. Free kick goal was iffy, should perhaps have been an indirect one. Wall should have jumped, they still might have scored though? Let's be a bit more adventurous and better control from the front men and we could get back in it? Benteke not having a good one yet?

I can understand your point but he seems to genuinely give it his all. I think he has recently recovered from injury and played quite a few games with a bit of a knock. He isn't great but he's not that bad either.
