The match Burnley against Arsenal - goal was handball and offside in the 94th minute - if it had been Burnleys goal in identical circumstances would it have counted?

Yep and Jamie Carragher spent all Friday evening explaining why McArthur was definitely offside even though the keeper and none of the Everton team thought so (only Henry felt is was harsh as the keeper was clearly beaten) and yet barely said anything about the Arsenal goal today. If it wasn't offside it had to be handball!!!

Don't mind the disallowed goal IF the decision was against Macca but not sure it was. Dammo decision IF it was a foul then it was INDIRECT. Incompetent in my opinion and should at the very least be made to stand in the holmesdale and cheer on the spammers next match as punishment!!! Parrot

Are you suggesting Manager challenges could be made maybe 5 mins later (During next break in play) after which a goal could have been scored ? They do this in the NHL. You can have a goal scored that is "cleared" off the line, and play can continue for who knows how long. It can go on for 10 minutes and the other team can score. The coach can call for a review, it's ruled a goal, and everything that happened for the 10 minutes after, including another goal, is wiped out.

"Resume natural order" as it were. I thought it was just me. I'm watching games and I can't believe how many late decisions go the way to the big boys. I follow the NHL over here and there are many conspiracy theorists about certain teams...I was wondering if it was happening with the EPL as well.

..far too many bookings, he must have been close on a couple of incidents of not knowing who he has and who he hasn't booked and how many times, also players start to not concentrate on their game when they realise the ref has lost his marbles...resulting in the match not being contested between two teams but two teams contesting against a nutty referee, a problem that every game involving clatterburg becomes, much to his delight.

Ref veteran Keith Hackett clearly state that Jon Moss ought to retire. His decision to let Lukaku's goal stand (indirect free kick) showed lack of basic understanding of the law. Willo, please do not comment on this statement!

Willo, please do not comment on this statement! The article is here: Interesting that he got 13 key decisions wrong in 22 games - mistakes you expect but you hope they get the key decisions right. I've mentioned before that I thought he got pretty much everything right (not that I wanted to admit it) bar the direct/indirect free kick but that is a fundamental mistake.
