In answer to the OPs question no I wouldn't care if Pardew left. I haven't actually cared much about losing any of our managers except one and that was Steve Bruce. And that was purely because I have never seen us play as good football as we did when he was in charge.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

We're unbeaten in 4, 3 wins on the trot, and the players Pardew has bought for the first team are bedding in well. Pardew has a plan for the team and it's bearing fruit. Even if there was a better replacement immediately available, this would be a terrible time to lose the manager. And I can't see anyone miles better who's available.

Mainly because any decent replacements have literally just been snapped up by other clubs. If he was going to leave it would have been better to do so in pre-season. In short, right now it's what we call "slim pickin's"
