Really don't get the hate for Cabaye....

I agree. We were looking good and Cabaye almost played a couple of killer passes that were just slightly underweight. This hatred of a player who is our player is ridiculous. He hasn't looked world class, but he's hardly been awful.

My goodness, two very, very poor teams for which we are the slightly better poor team which has made the biggest mistake of the match resulting in the goal. I'm amazed just how bad we are with that 11 playing today. Wednesday was more about Sako, Mutch and Fryers and the Southamptons squad being of a better strength 9it was also a poor performance). Today there is no excuse for that performance from the 11 playing - Our midfield should be ripping into them and passing quality balls to the forwards? There has be something more than the performance as man for man (on paper) we are the better team?

FFS Dont know what game you are watching.

All over Sunderland.

One stupid mistake and we are losing

Why people want to take off Cabaye when he's far from having a shocker?

We are behind because Ledley's limitations/lack of confidence with the ball and oppo players in close quarters but rather than withdraw him we should take off a most complete midfielder? Eh?

yeah its bizarre
Some people just have their favourites and those they will always hate and nothing will ever change their minds.

Also, this ref is a joke, Sunderland should have had 4 yellows by now.

Pards needs to give them a rocket at half time and they need to come out firing and moving forward, wingers down the line and midfielders pushing on. If not we will be getting nothing from this match. Get at this bunch and they will wobble. COYP !!!

I agree with both points.
If there was a game to get Cabaye back up to speed, this would be it.
Cabaye could score three but still some on here would hate him.

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

Cabaye gets wound up far too easily for an experienced player. Worse than Wilf.

..yes he does and it always ruins his and our game, I utterly fail to see what he brings because of this behaviour, we will go on and win this easily I reckon but we are making it hard to watch.

You want to what?!

Reminds me of our loss to Villa last year, lost the game based on a lapse in focus. Still have the 2nd though to get something today. COYP!

Get used to it. Now watch our entire performance slated because of one totally stupid, unacceptable, piece of football that there was actually no reason to produce.
Cabaye has played well and we are now weaker with him off.
Sick of the constant foot shooting at Palace.

We seem to be between the passing game and long ball to me. Playing out to midfield then it inevitably comes back for Delaney or someone at the back to hoof it. Think we need more confidence to play in the middle of the park.

..don't hate him, but hate his attitude to winning the ball back, not helpful to himself or Palace in the slightest and has been doing this for far too long and in my world I would boot him out because of it.
Same goes towards Zaha at times because he often gets too involved with the opposition giving them the advantage over him, drives me nuts.
