If you're happy with that then brilliant. You obviously have low ambition for your club My abmition is realistic, and we've been punching above our weight for a few years. You can't even beat Huddersfield.

Whether we like it or not the Newcastle fans warned us what would happen when Pardew arrived and virtually everything they said would happen has. I still can't understand how he survived last season's run without a win, I can only assume it was because of the cup run. I don't believe he will take us down because I'm sure the owners will act if we go on another bad run but I don't expect him to be with us this time next year.

He will kill your club What difference does it make to you, of course you came here to gloat and say I told you so But we are a premiership club and you are losing at home to Huddersfield. The only reason I don't want you to go down again is that you have Gayle, who was well liked here, even if he was deemed not quite up to the job for us. Pardew or no Pardew, your fans are deluded and your posts on here show that nothing has changed. You have had 3 managers since Pardew and yet here you are. Do you hope to achieve some sort of closure by posting on here. I'm sure there is some sort of support group you could go to to get help or just go down the pub and try to forget.

I'm thinking a more appropriate name may have been Goldstone B. Ender - thinking about that I may have to start a new NSC account.

He'll divide the squad, divide the support and make it a pain in the arse to attend games because it's so dull. I can see it has already started by skimming through this board. What difference does it make to you? Newcastle fans were roundly derided for saying Pardew was a limited manager and an awful person. The "difference it makes" is that, despite it transpiring that Newcastle fans were right, there's been no acknowledgement of that. Pardew escaped Newcastle with little blame for the situation at St James'. Ashley is a bad owner, no doubt, but Pardew contributed to the malaise at the club and certainly shoulders the majority of the responsibility for poor selections, substitutions, tactics and performances. A responsibility that friends in the media helped him avoid.

Fans are unrealistic Palace are a small club with poor infrastructure and staying up is no easy task getting to a cup final was a bonus. Newcastle were under funded sold their best players and not only stayed up they finished in Europe doing very well in that comp. Take a look at the championship and you will see many teams who wanted a step up and got a step or two down.
