Agree he can be a superb footballer apart from his cheating, diving and trying to get the opposition sent off.. hate him and his kind with a passion, Palace players too who cheat, and to be honest would rather not have a player like that play for our club.. let's hope it is just a rumour..

When I read this (probably false) rumour I wanted to be sick. I thought, we might as well sign John Terry, Joey Barton and Josef Fritzl as well. However, now I sort of wish it was true.

Imagine a whole season where Benteke and Young can't dive whilst playing AGAINST us. Bliss!

I think Ashley Young would improve our squad. If Bolasie goes then he would be a great signing.

Football players are loyal to their club..but their loyalties change with their pay packet.
They will do what they can to win the game for their club. Young does not mind diving to achieve this. Although if he had a strong manager who punished him for diving, then he wouldn't do it.

Football fans are a fickle bunch. He'd come here put in a decent shift. He'd be a fans favourite if he lit the place up like he can on his day. I'd dare say that were his diving antics be allowed at this club then our reaction to them would differ based on his goal/assist count.

For me I would love him at the club, you have to separate the player and the man.

Much like Cantona, who all though clearly a fcking cunce on and off the pitch, you have to admit he was s*** hot at football.
