Oh how about shops that don't put prices on things? So you have to walk up to the counter with the doll (or whatever you are buying) and say "how much for party Barbie with interchangeable hairdo?" and they say "£49.99" and you have to do the British thing and pay twice what you think it was worth because it'd be too embarassing to say "well that's f*cking outrageous" and storm out.
