In the meantime, change the Diving part in your username to Moaning. Because that is all you seem to do on here. Edited by Alexi_the_Eagle (30 Jul 2016 5.56pm)

It is not like Gayle set the Premier (without a final e) alight now did he. Moaning for Moaning's sake and not even acknowledging that the Townsend deal would likely not have happened without Gayle going the other way. So, let me ask you this, would you have kept Gayle over getting Townsend?
Most certainly not European. |

I'm amazed at how many football managers are fans of Crystal Palace and use this forum. I mean I thought I knew a fair amount about football but there are so many on here who know all the ins and outs of transfer dealings. I was of the impression that footballers and their agents were quite difficult to deal with but it seems that you can just get replacements in whenever you want. Wow, I had so much faith in our club's ownership, I didn't realise they were being so negligent.

We were right to sell gayle, however we should of had at least one striker lined up. The fact that we create little is a huge worry. I think we are 4 signing away from an top 10 team. We need to strengthen imo cb(preferably left footed that can play cover left back) Centre mid like Delph(box to box), creative midfielder (siggursson), striker (edin Dzeko or Bony)

He got 15 goals in 63 league appearances, and apart from scoring 1 in 4 he dominated center halves and fullbacks, and ran defensive midfielders ragged. It was a disgrace that we only got 10m for him...

Gayle scored today for Newcastle, I think the move will be great for Gayle and I reckon he will come back to Selhurst Park next year (for Newcastle) and be a real handful. I still don't think Diving is right. I will be disappointed if we don't get Benteke, but Benteke can end up at Everton and Berahino can end up at Stoke and I still wont think Diving is right. I must be a really dull sheep.

Edited by europalace (31 Jul 2016 1.41am) To be fair didn't Parish say it was a mistake selling Murrary? There were plenty of us saying it at the time, similar to the amount saying we should've had a striker setup before letting Gayle go. And if it's true that the Gayle deal had nothing whatsoever to do with Townsend then I think it's a fair enough statement to make as it boils down to the very basics which at the moment is Mutch playing as striker. I've whacked £100 on Gayle at 9/1 to finish Championship top scorer..... Just saying!!

Murray sale was no brainer. Gayle plus three million for Townsend is a great deal. We are in the market for a 20/30m striker have not sold any first eleven players not sure how any Palace fan can knock the management.
