We are a club based in one of the most multi-cultural parts of the world. Our captain is Australian, our star player is French, one of our heroes is from Congo, the other is from the Ivory Coast and brought up in Croydon. I can't imagine Farage enjoying it much with his parochial, little England views. Why are people so keen to say they would like to have a pint with this utter gobs***e?

Nigel Farage can support whoever he likes (though I doubt he ever actually watches us). What I'm annoyed about is him using "Crystal Palace Football Club" as an analogy in his speech today, which was essentially about peddling his usual UKIP fear-mongering bullsh*t about how Europe is full of terrorists and sex offenders. Watch it for yourself if you're that interested...

And Farage's wife is German, so what relevance has the nationality of our players got to do with anything?

Not wishing to get too political, especially as my views dont represent that of farages. BUT. Aren't farages views anti European Union? NOT anti Europe or World trade? I.e. deals with Europe aren't off the table nor are those with the rest of the world - such as India and China? He's not Nick Griffin... It's not 'Little England' or nothing, its actually reaching further afield than France or Germany.... ?? Perhaps I'm wrong...

His party is actually against being part of the EU so I don't see how players from the Congo, ivory coast and Australia affects him.

You really have no clue what you are on about. I don't really want to get into a political debate in this forum but Farage is fighting the status quo, which currently stops people from Africa or Asia from entering the UK because we are told that immigration should mostly be made up of WHITE people from Eastern Europe only and rules out skilled workers from Ivory Coast or Congo etc etc.

Well, could be worse... Osama bin Laden was an Arsenal fan! I know, imagine being part of Al Qaeda and having someone supporting Arsenal as part of your organisation!

It's got nothing to do with immigration for whites and not for Africans and Asian people. You almost sound racist in the other way there. I actually agree with the policy. We have got far too many people here at the moment and until we sort out the mess we should halt immigration. Why should we have to put up with this mass influx? It needs to be controlled. It's common sense, nothing to do with racism.
