Five minutes after the final whistle, I checked on two ticket websites. The first prices started at £575 per seat rising to £2000, 1114 available for the palace end, the second started at £330 restricted view up to again £2000+ package.Again 1100 tickets available. So much for treating supporters fairly.

Which is because you're checking on websites that aren't the Crystal Palace Ticket website lol

When we went in 1990 we had 19,000 tickets, united 24,000. It was 25,000 last year to each side so 28,500 each this year, progress is being made but the prices are going through the roof. Thing is that nearly all these tickets end up in the hands of Palace or United fans through the black market. You can buy tickets already through various sites.

Doesn't really matter but was 14000 Us 26000 Mancs
even now when you think the capacity is 90k only 57k goes to the clubs!

1000'S Of pissed up Palace and Mancs dotted around the stadium some segregation lol!

I remember thinking at the time how outrageous the low allocation was and how many cronies were allowed to see the final but considering our average attendance was so low compared to Manure they had the worst deal

Now although the ratio of att is still miles apart the tickets are split 50/50 so now they still get the bum deal at least 47-48k less than thier average att will miss out, but obviously will be looking to buy black market tickets.

Here's the thread from a few years ago,

...but I really want to ask, so, to anyone who is annoyed by this post: sorry.

My doubt.

About 28k tickets to ManUtd, 28k to Palace. Fine.

Wembley is 90k.

How are the remaining 34k tickets sold/distributed? Who, when and where can buy/get them?

Thanks a lot.

About 18k of them are Club Wembley, then the rest are for the 'Football Family' aka coaches/club secretaries etc of grass roots clubs members of the FA, affiliated partners etc etc.

All clubs affiliated to the FA get a handful of tickets I believe, so all the other 90 Prem / league clubs get tickets, as well as all the non-league clubs going down many levels. Then there are all the FA hangers-on, and probably tickets for 'celebs' if truth be known like at Wimbledon.

Thanks to both.

So, would it be fair to say that, unless you're a member o have any link to a club or the FA, you'll never be able to get a ticket?

I have never been to a Palace game in my life, but would like to jump on the bandwagon now that "we" are in the final.

As I cannot be bothered to get a job, I cannot afford a ticket, even if I could get hold of one.

In light of this, would anyone be willing to buy me a ticket for the match and give me some spending money for train fare and a pub lunch etc?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I would. Please send me a pic of your boobs and I'll tell you.

No need to say thank you.

Pretty much. Unless you're made of money and know somebody selling Club Wembley tickets.

Of course there will be more disappointed Man U fans than Palace fans, but I suspect Palace fans who miss out would he more pissed off as individuals.

For us it might be a once in a lifetime thing to see our club win the FA Cup. For many of theirs it's become an unimportant achievement and one they know they'll get to witness again soon.
