I am a lowly member, avid in the mid 70s (Div 3 & 2) and only started going again after a 35 year break having been playing and managing (plus never that keen on sitting at football matches!) Over the last couple of seasons I've done quite a few, home and away but have generally had some ST friends get my ticket to help build their points simply because I'd never get up to a meaningful points total myself anyway.
One suggestion raised to prevent "one-time" members taking loyal fans' tickets might be to allocate 2 tickets per ST holder but the 2nd purchase has to have a client reference. Any thoughts?

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Nope. They'll be second most expensive. Up in the clouds will be cheapest tickets.

Cheapest - Green
Then yellow
The blue
then red - most expensive.

Very helpful, thanks.

Playing devil's advocate - maybe the tickets should be allocated on FA cup match attendance record.

especially seeing as there wasn't much interest in earlier rounds....

SOLD OUT SPURS SOUTHAMPTON AND READING.

What more can you do. ?

Lame excuse mate. They are sold out yes, but they're sold out with people like yourself buying the last few thousand.

A membership gives you the chance to buy home tickets. If you want to go to a big category A game you have to also buy one for a category B game. Any member can buy them, as soon as they're released.

A membership also gives you the opportunity to buy away tickets. You may struggle with Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd but being in Leeds you'd easily get a ticket for a North East away match, Everton, possibly Man City, Leicester, Stoke, West Brom, anyone really once the stage of points and ST's and then just St's has passed.

Agreed. MEMBERSHIP to support the Club.

Then it gives you a chance for these special days.

just a couple of things
I reckon the semis at Wembley are a good thing as like others have said its the best chance a lot of our support will get a ticket for Wembley as the final tickets become a nightmare and some of our most loyal fans wont get a ticket which is a shame.

At the play offs I was in the clouds also and got to say the view was brilliant

Last thing
I wonder if the box office has been selling memberships just lately, now we are at Wembley

I take it you didn't go to the earlier rounds then?

I am hopeful my membership and meagre loyalty points score will get me a ticket. If it doesn't then I'll just have to accept that. Will buy another replica shirt instead and bump my points up for the final

It'll be one each for season tickets and members as we have roughly the same number of those as the allocation, with those with the most loyalty points getting first dibs on seats. Sure there'll be a few more members in the coming weeks!

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I think that's the fair way to do it however will be upset if I have to sit by myself if it's done on points system. My friends have more points than me

I have just ordered 50 replica shirts to give me an extra 2000 points. Plan to return them after I have purchased my ticket!

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

What number of loyalty points would be needed to get a better choice of tickets please?
