Michael, are you actually going to provide any evidence to back up your passive aggressive ramblings or are they just futile attempts at scaremongering?

It's called a hypothetical question, Matthew, where one can still have an opinion where evidence doesn't exist because it didn't happen. Even Ralph Wiggum would get that. Just. If that is your angle do you then have any hard evidence that we will still be the fifth largest economy in the years to come if we leave the Show me the figures.

Kermy - there is no evidence to suggest being part of the EU has led to our economy being 5th largest either. As I said (and await your reply Sir) where would our economy be now if we had adopted the Euro? All the scaremongering for that debate is being dragged up again for this referendum - "we'll be in the slow lane, no one will trade with us, we'll be out on a limb, etc etc. Lets stick to what we know and debate that. My opinion is that the economy will benefit in some ways by leaving and lose on others. Nothing significantly detrimental will occur as with sticking with the pound demonstrated to those scaremongering. This debate is more about the kind of life we will all have in the next 50 years if we vote to stay in the EU and how our infrastructure can cope with millions more living here I think.

All I did was respond to you and you call me desperate! (we are actually the 6th largest economy in the world if you care to look it up - but then again, misquoting the facts does not normally stop you)

So nothing then. You just enjoy trying to get morally superior over the rest of us for some reason. Looking for any kind of moral superiority is not my intention at all. Just friggin' fed up of biased press (many run by tax-avoiding Press barons) and lack of other perspective. I guess that the reality is that we have all had different experiences of migrant integration just as they have had from us within their countries (heck...we've even bombed some of them - make of that what you will!)

The EU isn't so bad. It has given us some great things over the decades and has a positive impact for many millions here in the UK today. If it truly was that awful as some have convinced themselves it is 75% would be voting 'Out'. The last sentance is way off in my opinion. The majority of people just swallow and believe whatever they're told by the BBC and similar, and Cameron. I'm sure you'd never normally trust Cameron, so I'm surprised you're listening to him on this.

Michael, you are the one the making the statements, I am questioning hem. Therefore, as previously requested, please provide your figures to back up your claims. BTW, you are not asking a hypothetical question, you are making a loaded question. There is a difference and you know it.

Hoof, I don't think there is much point I engaging with Michael. His position is that if you vote out, you are a 'Little Englander swivel eyed racist'. This comes from a man who has made his feelings towards ethnic minorities known by moving as far away from them as possible and engaging with them as few a times as he can, maybe when they fix his guttering or make him a flat white in his local branch of Nero's. It is not rational and I believe there are some serious psychological reasons why he is taking this stance.
