Benteke: highly unlikely - but if it happens, probably a loan to the end of the season with us picking up most of his wages and the usual gentleman's agreement not to field him v Pool. I would take that with knobs on - especially if there was an option to buy.

Benteke wouldn't really work with Adebayor, too similar players. Would definitely look at him in the summer though.

And tell him to wait till summer... IMHO the guy wants to go to the Euros and play,if he thought he would get game time outside of LFC then he will although I susspect a host of clubs would be above us that would be able to give him game time. onwards and upwards, live everyday as if its ya last

Ok, Ill let them all know then... And tell him to wait till summer...

IMHO the guy wants to go to the Euros and play,if he thought he would get game time outside of LFC then he will although I susspect a host of clubs would be above us that would be able to give him game time.

LP going to spend 32M and dump him 6 months later? who is going to spend anywhere near that for him at this point? they'd need to take a massive loss.

I still don't get the Green for McCarthy scenario? Why do we need another goalkeeper? (Unless Jules is retiring at the end of the season?) It seems as though it's going to happen though!

Blimey, it's quiet on the transfer front at the moment. I was expecting CPFC to have got a couple of signings over the finish line by now. Have we REALLY got the strength in squad to finish the season on a high if things don't pick up by 11pm tonight?

Blimey, it's quiet on the transfer front at the moment. I was expecting CPFC to have got a couple of signings over the finish line by now. Have we REALLY got the strength in squad to finish the season on a high if things don't pick up by 11pm tonight?

Pardew wants McCarthy to get a run of games, something he can't do here, so put him out on loan? The pecking order will still be Hennesey,Speroni and maybe now Green?

Except we don't need Green no matter what. If there is a serious injury to Hennessey or Speroni just recall McCarthy. Spending time and money on Green is just wasteful
