Dont forget Ledley had played down here before he went up to the spl so it kind of negates the point. Too good for up there which is why lowly palace were able to tempt him from the all conquering celtic. That is probably the most definitive answer you could get from the player.

Exactly my point, very few SPL players step up to the Premier League, many stepped into the old 1st Division.

Also can you remind us all which was the first British club to win the european cup? All with very local players. so it hasnt always been rubbish has it? Mind you i could be wrong cos i dont know what i'm talking about.

Apparently Southampton are failing to meet Celtics £10 million valuation for Van dyke. he would be a very good signing. btw John Salako was on talksport this morning saying we are hoping to bring one or two players in.
