On a lighter note, A f*cking B f*cking de f*cking Villiers! F*ck! He is incredible. His innings last week and the one in South Africa which set the record for fastest 100 were absolutely unbelievable. I love how he just keeps on motoring when he gets his ton. Is there a chance England might meet South Africa if we do qualify? Edited by morganistic (02 Mar 2015 2.22pm)

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. |

Still confident of England reaching the quarters stuk? If they don't, is this an all-time low? What the f*ck is going on? And have England really got another f*cking WEEK before their next game? Get on with it fuf*cksake!
I've stayed up to watch the last two defeats! We were going along at over 10 runs an over at the start of the innings and just ground to a f***ing halt, Ian Bell seems determined to bat like it's a test. Gary Balance can just sod off. Even at the midway point we had loads of wickets in hand and just thought "no we're on target for our preset plans, so sod going for it. 300 will do". We could've easily got toward 400 (and over it against the jocks) and made Sri Lanka think twice. As it was they knocked off the highest run chase at that ground, ever, with ease. One again dropping a man early on who went on to get 100+.

They'd smash us for 500 Mmm probably unlikely then as South Africa lost their first match didn't they? Shame in a way. Or maybe not, as our bowlers could get permanently damaged psychologically.

It doesn't make any sense. Wasn't the whole back to back Ashes bollocks just so we could properly prepare for this World Cup? That went well didn't it? t***s. I've always taken the piss out of England while still being a big fan but nearly all of them, apart from Root and a couple of the younger ones, are getting right on my tits these days. I don't think I've forgiven them yet for getting whitewashed twice by Australia in seven years. The whole set-up f*cking reeks of p*ss and puke and sh*t.

I don't think I've forgiven them yet for getting whitewashed twice by Australia in seven years. The whole set-up f*cking reeks of p*ss and puke and sh*t. Even when it's going totally wrong, we'll have 4 overs from you and you then change you both. For a stats led team can someone in the set-up please look at Broad's figure in the first power play? He's the most expensive of any bowler, in the world! As soon as the drop came off of him I just f***ing knew he'd take it out on his own team and not on the batsman, which he duly did by giving away 5 wides and getting hit for 2 sixes off rank deliveries. The back to back Ashes was because of the world test series, or whatever it was called, that never happened (because India do not give a crap about tests and vetoed it, after it was already in the calendar). The change of line-up baffled me, but not as much as it did to not change it back after it failed. If not after the first time, at least after the second one. I love my England cricket games but the whole system post the last Ashes whitewash is badly broken, and testing my patience. You could almost forgive Fred's one, as we were lacking a real captain and still hungover from winning the prior series 18 months on.

Now into the tail on 163/6. England are just a joke at this version of the game and, to be honest, it'll be better for us if we lose this match and get knocked out, rather than limping into the last 8 and papering over the enormous cracks. We're 10 years behind the rest of the world when it comes to 50 over cricket and we need to catch up sharpish.
Goodness is what you do. Not who you pray to. |
