The problem is, we just keep on winning and playing well.

The ideal scenario for the Mirror and those interested in keeping the story alive is that we survive by 2 or 3 points and then they can keep going on about it.

By making it comfortable and being safe with three games to do, it's not really a story anymore. 'Midtable club has good scouting' isn't quite as sexy as 'Nasty Palace cheat their way to survival' is it?

This.

TP should tell FA tomorrow that he the first manager (as far as I can remember) to tell his players that they will be fined for diving.

...if you know in advance that such and such is definitely without any doubt playing and in that position...it will help the other team, I expect 3 points deducted, no question.

I fully expect a -75 point deduction and 75m fine to be coming our way

At the risk of putting some GCSE maths on the HOL, is a minus 75 pt deduction kinda like two minuses? Which is a plus? So are we actually saying a 75 point addition?! Did I just use maths and bad grammar to make us outside title contenders? :P

Only if you multiply them together Should have been listenining bit harder

Its not just multiplication. 2 minus -2 equals 4 (for example). I listened fine at school.

I read the Sun. I'm not a snob you see. Many of the broad sheets print as much rubbish as the tabloids plus they are far more influenced by their political leanings and often try to sway the reader to their way of thinking.
The Sun has its faults but show me a newspaper that doesn't

And you think the Sun doesn't do that? Seriously?!

Of course they do. Did I say that? They all do. Some worse than others though. I think we all know that. I read other newspapers too. Some are better for certain interests than others.
Some like to sneer at the Sun and other tabloids but its sports coverage is good.
It makes me laugh how so many people claim to not read tabloids when they outsell many so called 'high brow' papers 10 to 1! I think that means someone's buying it. Well, quite a lot really.

It's fine mate, no need to get defensive. If you want to read that pile of sh*te it's completely up to you.

Exactly, do I criticise you reading the Beano? Of course not.
Each to their own's what I say.
Joking asside I'm not defensive about it at all. I read all sorts for all sorts of different reasons. I'm currently reading a Mark Billingham crime novel. My previous book was Dante's Divine Comedy. I enjoy both for completely different reasons. Doesn't make me a halfwit nor does it make me a professor.
Some get pretty hung up about the stigma attatched to certain products. It can turn one into a snob. I'm happy in the skin I'm in as they say, as I am sure you are.

Yes mate I am, and it's all good. You read what you want and I'll read what I want. I'm sure you're neither a halfwit or a professor, and I never suggested you were.

Glad you're happy in your skin, as am I in mine, and we're all loving the fact that Tan Sri is making himself and his club the biggest laughing stock in football since Brighton decided clappers were a good idea for a playoff semifinal.

Some time ago I stayed for a while in remote village in North Africa. I was totally divorced from any media news whatsoever. On returning to Old Blighty, I quickly bought a few papers to read as I had really missed my daily fix of news.

The one thing that struck me instantly was the information you were gleaning most from each article was more about the neurosis and underlying personal issues of said journalist on any given subject. Broad sheets more so than the others.

Anyway......Cardiff are c**ts and I hope they get what they deserve: short shrift from the Prem authorities and a painful relegation due to us fielding our youth team against Fulham and scoring a ludicrous OG in the final minute of injury time.

Don't get all upset The sum you're talking about is

2 - (-2) = 4 (where a double negative is being multiplied) OK? Or do you need any more help with your sums?

Wasn't it ole gunnar solskjaer who said that he would force Zaha to celebrate if he scored a goal, thus telling everybody part of his team and strategy. I'm sure barring a couple of players that their lineup hasn't changed that much.
