If it wasn't for this "colossal tit" Cardiff City would probably have been wound up by now as they were just about to fold when he bought the club and injected £66m into it in the process

Indeed and his investment enabled Cardiff to be promoted.

Compared to our investment that got us promoted and kept us up.

Dangerous hubris.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

You say "Kept us up". Jumping the gun ! We still have work to do !!!!

As 'Ian J' has rightly pointed out, Tan's investment saved Cardiff from the brink and clearly his financial input enabled them to be promoted.

Finally, nothing wrong in tucking a football shirt into one's trousers !!!!

I feel bad for Cardiff fans. They don't deserve to have their club gaffed around with by this colossal tit.

I can't see it being worth a points deduction, and anyhow any deduction would almost certainly be appealed and challanged, so it couldn't take place this season. You'd also have to show material benefit from the information.

I've no idea how Tan actually intends to proove this. But if he can't Palace should counter-sue for damage to their intellectual property and brand from slander and libel.

Not to mention the time it will take to investigate the claims, as they will need proof, and that will be very hard and time consuming to get.

.

Cardiff fans might love it but where would this leave the club financially ?

There has been a real furore about the chance of colour but changing of the colours was offset by Tan investing in the squad to earn promotion, increasing the capacity of the stadium, looking at the development of a new training ground and working to wipe out the 'Langston' debt.

In the final analysis Tan has delivered, or is in the process, of delivering on each of these promises.

Let's not praise this tit in any way. Quite simply, one of football's worst kind of owner.

Yes he saved them, but perhaps if there fans had a glimpse of the destruction he would bring, perhaps there fans would may of settled for keeping there soul but falling into the same plight as Portsmouth.

Would you like him in charge of Palace? Absolutely not.

Yes he changed their colours etc but we changed our colours from Claret & Blue and our nickname to "Eagles" but I don't recall any furore and outpourings of "Selling our soul" etc etc.

What destruction? He appointed two managers who not only had popular appeal at the time but were both on the short list of many HOL members to replace Holloway here. Neither seem to have worked out but you can't blame the chairman for that.

If he turned up at the High Court a couple of years ago when the club was just about to be consigned to oblivion and said that he would save them and inject shedloads of money on condition they changed their colours to red I would imagine that every single supporter would have been in favour
