Following tonight's drubbing they only have 1 game in hand on us and let's be honest, looking at their fixtures they really don't have much chance. They need to win 4 games and yet they've only won 6 all season. They're as good as gone.

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways

Actually Sunderland played well first half, Spurs was terrible, but in the end a great result for the rest of bottom 6.

I'd sack Poyet for his ugliness alone.
He's really ugly, isn't he?

Your right his hideous, I had to send my kids to bed early, in case they got nightmares.

Even better then. That will freak them out. 'We played well, wtf happened'. Brilliant.

I dont think we have anything to fear from a team that shipped 5 away to a poor Spurs side.

As we have shown (and I'll bet the same goes for the league title, which is why the Scouse wont win it) the teams with the tightest defences have more success, for so many reasons.

Both OGS and the chimp have talked about needing miracles. They're not wrong. Both done. Between Fulham & Norwich for the final spot.

I had a look on their forum quickly last night - meltdown indeed, Bridcutt is s***, Gus is useless, club rotten from the top down etc etc etc

All questioning their players committment and good comments about us and ours 'running through walls' for the manager and the cause

Their fans think thats it for them which can only be good, good, good...

Indeed Sash. Since Pulis has been here I dont think there has been any doubt about how much the players are giving. Sure everyone thinks some are better than others on a week by week basis, but I think the commitment has always been there, and more than that - the belief and unity of the team.

And that goes a very long way. Tony Pulis is exceptional at getting a team to do all this, he took on a tough challenge with us and has delivered, again.

There is simply no-one better at doing this. We can be proud of our club again, and thats worth a lot I think.

Just need to finish the job... (im pretty confident we will, even if this is Palace !!)

Even if we got 3 more points, or maybe even none, were asking alot of teams to make up 7 or so points...one of which is Norwich(who would need 5 if we got 1 more win) who have a terrible run in..

Im not saying were safe until it's mathematically impossible...but signs are good

Do we really want Sunderland to survive at the expense of Fulham? Sunderland, hell of a long way, high travel costs for supporters and team alike. Expensive hotel bill for team. Fulham, the complete opposite plus the advantage and comfort of a packed house. What would our great board prefer who, having invested in the club, need to always cover costs. Hope Palace can keep Fulham up.
