It's ridiculously close this year - sky must be absolutely loving it. I think we're capable of taking a point off anyone except the top 4 away. Our record against the bottom teams is good too so it's very possible. I also think that 4 points in the next 2 games is not impossible, although I'd bite your hand off for 2 right now.

We have some quality now, although Dann didn't look as solid as Gabbidon to me but give him some time and he could be better. Ince has promise and will be interesting to see Ledley in midfield as compared to Guedioura.

I have hope, but that's always the killer...

For us to get relegated I think we would have to fail to get more than 9 points out of a possible 39.

That's not going to happen.

im an eternal pessimist, but would love to say yes. Tough run in, to boot.
I think considering how tight the bottom is, whoever stays up, may get away with less than the magic 40 points this season.

im also atheist, but im praying we stay up

You cannot write anyone off yet, nor can you comprehensively count any of the bottom 11 safe. There will be shocks aplenty still and we need to just count each point as it comes. Surely 38 will be enough (certainly could be less) so lets just hope we keep these points coming in.

Absolutely we will, no doubt about it, not even close, stop worrying everybody!

The only away trips left for the entire season against teams in the top half are Everton and Newcastle, hardly terrifying.

The good news is we visit so many teams in the bottom half, loads of them, so our future is firmly in our hands.

Ok, we have some big hitters coming to Selhurst Park, but these games can now be enjoyed rather than endured because we are 100% safe!

That's just about the stupidest thing I've ever read on here, and it's up against some tough competition.

There's plenty of positives regarding our survival but it will be close.
Our run in is not as bad as some, look at Norwich's last 4 games. LOL!
Pulis has organised us to the point that we're bloody hard to beat and other than our early capitulation to Fulham no one has thrashed us.
The teams around us keep surprising but our record against them is pretty good and that's where the key points are.
Pulis made three good signings that are already having a good impact and things can only get better.

Also, the only team near us to have won more than us is Southampton in 9th. WBA & Cardiff have only won 4 & 5 respectively!

I'm hopeful, but until we nick three points from a game we really "shouldn't," I believe it's far from a sure thing.

Most importantly, we're winning the games we should at home, but we need a scalp. Most of the teams around us have got one already.

Norwich and Fulham's results this weekend were as good as wins.

We must turn one of these "honourable defeats," into a victory. No better opportunity to do so than this very week.
