Chelsea will always be remembered as possibly the worst team to win the Champions League. Still, its an incredible feat, hopefully you can retai..oh wait, sorry, you bombed out. Well, there's still the Carli....Oh no! Sorry again, you bombed out there too. Nevermind, the Premier lea....oh damn it, i did it again. Sorry. There's always the FA cup, i suppose. Edited by JL85 (14 Feb 2013 12.25am) yes you know the trophy we have won 4 times in almost as many years. Remember a trophy do you?? What was it you last won?? full members cup? Johnstone Paint Trophy? Goals five-a- side?? And actually we are still champions of Europe (until May) Edited by chelski (14 Feb 2013 9.12am) Edited by chelski (14 Feb 2013 9.15am)

I almost feel sorry for Chelsea fans... (the real ones that is) They finally win the Champions League after how many attempts? Then while finally riding the crest of a wave, they sack their manager. Most fans would protest against the board or the owners, but not Chelsea. The fans are too s*** scared to criticise their owner because the thought of him removing his blank cheque away from their payroll terrifies then as they know they simply wont win anything without it, just like 99% of the other teams in English Football. The data from this poll (December 2012) only really proves it. Chelsea appear to be the only club who seem to think Abramovich is the best owner in the land, 70% gave a positive impression, while six other teams specifically list them as being the worst. They even come second on the worst owners league. It must be horrible to think that one man has an entire football clubs fanbase held financially hostage when that man couldn't care less about the heritage or stability of a team and just wants trophies. Its like he is playing with Chelsea fans by making more unpopular decisions just so he can watch them continue to kiss his backside and then take their frustrations out on others such as the manager, other mens wives, ball boys etc. Sorry state of affairs really.
Have you replied to the wrong post be accident? I never called Chelsea fans Sad... I never called them deluded (although im beginning to change my mind) Not sure what the Simon Jordan part is all about? I never said your Champions league win was bad for you, infact I said the opposite. I never questioned Chelsea's trophy record to date, I merely said that teams nowadays simply wont win trophies such as the league title, European cup and possibly the FA cup without large sums of money (its true). The fact that a top four side inst in this years league cup final is a miracle. What I did question was your fans perception of your owner which i backed up with solid figures and unsurprisingly, you have failed to talk about that at all. Try answering my points first and I will answer yours about our current season eh?

And yes vast sums of money are required to win trophies. That's stating the obvious. Fortunately enough we have that in the amount we generate and out owner. So calling another player a f/ucking black c/unt isn't racist ? Oh dear. You just dont understand. The statement is a racist one and shouldnt be used, BUT just because a person uses racial language in a one off scenario does not mean that they themselves are a Racist. I dont really understand why you dont get that!!!

Edited by chelski (14 Feb 2013 9.36am) Edited by chelski (14 Feb 2013 9.36am) Here we go... getting somewhere now. I couldn't understand your last post because you didn't put anything in context and seemed to just spout internet acronyms out as though you expected some sort of imaginary audience to start applauding you. This is true, since Abramovich took over you have been successful, but you have won everything at some stage now (bar the club world cup) have you not? Whats in it for Abramovich now as with Financial Fair Play on the horizon and greater competition in the form of Manchester City and rejuvenated Man Utd for trophies? Chelsea wont have it all their own way. Since the start of this season he appears to be more erratic than usual with the sacking of Di Matteo and the appointment of Benitez, a man he knew your fans HATE. The reality is, if Abromovich was to get impatient (which he often is), he could take it to a whole new level and there really is not much standing in his way stopping him from taking your team completely off the rails. Your fans have sat idly by while he dismisses a club legend and appoints a hate figure. Whats next? I could see him renaming your stadium something silly like 'The Millhouse LLC Stadium' only to be met with 'okay, as long as you keep the funding up Mr Abramovich' from your fans. Your turnover may have increased but I still doubt that gives you a profit. Sadly, Chelsea look like they will be hooked on Abramovich's cash for many years to come while you keep making crazy signings like the Torres fiasco. You also cant compare us to you. Our owners since the late 90's have all been Palace fans at heart. Sadly two out of three have thought with their heart over their head (hence the administrations). Even still they have not escaped criticism and because of it our current owners are the most open yet realistic board I have known to date.

Funny to think that Ambramovich was actually going to buy Tottenham initially. Luckily (?) for you, he chose Chelsea instead otherwise you would probably had Bates still there....but you are right, the Russian's money has enabled your club to buy those trophies that you are boasting about, good luck to you. However, that spending has changed the face of the game as a whole. And not in a good way. I'm not in any way jealous of Chelsea's success but I do resent the effect the likes of them and Man City's finances have had . I wonder how you will bend the Financial Fair Play Rules ? - Hopefully by increasing your ticket prices. I know long standing Chelsea fans ( ie. pre Bates and Abramovich ) who resent having to pay what they do now - where will it end ? Anyway, you must be chuffed at that Under 18 result, I'm sure that will be the springboard to turn your season around and cement your CL place for next season.

What do you think will happen when Mr Abramovich pulls his money? Your stadium isn't big enough, you can't find anywhere to relocate, you'll run out of money, you'll do a Portsmouth, you'll go back to supporting Man Utd etc...
er here!!!!!!!!!!
Edited by chelski (13 Feb 2013 3.10pm) You do realise that rich lists are posted around the end of financial years, right? Usually April.....for accuracy.....
