If we offered him a contract he was minded to accept, and if Chelsea were minded to terminate his contract with them thereby making him a free agent then we could sign him, and I think if we had an injury in our 25 (which clubs can usually "arrange" Edited by sydtheeagle (13 Feb 2014 8.06pm)

Which is a shame. Was thinking the other day he'd be good here, and suddenly it's not quite such an outrageous idea as it may have been 6 months ago. Someone on the radio was saying he'd be good enough for a load of Champions league teams, and I just thought ', nah, London, Palace, history; makes more sense.'
