Why was Lombardo horrible?? He's my all time favourite Palace player!

Steve Coppell was a very nice bloke. Remember him at one open day staying for about 30 minutes in the same spot tos ign autographs for his fans. Dougie also seems very nice.

On the other hand Franny didn't hagn around at his one open day which was very disappointing.

I met Curtis Fleming when on holiday in Italy a couple of years ago when he was at Boro. Top bloke, he was telling quality stories about Gazza, I was also chatting to Tony Parkes, Sounesss old number 2 at Blackburn and I asked what he thought of Matt Jansen......he basically said he was s***.

I met Phil Barber, Gavin Nebbeling and Jimmy Carter in La Refuge, Croydon some years back after they'd played in a reserve fixture somewhere. Phil & Gavin bought me a pint and were top blokes, whilst Jimmy was euphemistically talking about 'going home to do his maths homework'. He was talking about a blonde in the corner but I didn't get it at the time and I thought he was being a conscientious student. The 'christ, who's this tw@t' look on his face is indelibly formed in my head.

Dulce et decorum est pro Palace mori

"Gee, you and I oughtta get on swell Mister Burton, as we're both Selts".
"No, I am a Selt. You are a Sunt."

"24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not." ~ Stephen Wright

Dean Gordon, met him in the Blue Orchid, he was still playing for Palace. he was in their with Chris Coleman and i think Richard Shaw. chris was larging it up big time, but Dean was taking it easy and was quite no-plussed by it all. i went over to speak to him. we went to the same school although i was there some time before him. He was easy to talk too and didn't have a ego.

and it's goodnight from me.......
