Sad Sad times... Minutes applause at least! When we get a new ground there has to be a Malcolm Allison Stand. A Showman but knew his football inside out and knew then that home grown youth was the way forward. RIP Big Man

was well before my time. What were the MA days like a Palace? Sounds like not great football but he brought a certain amount of off-pitch fanfare and entertainment to the club, in a good way?

A flamboyant character who changed the image of Palace and made us a 'big' club. RIP you will be well remembered.

Before my time, but the club owes so much to Mal. He made the club what it is today, there is no other club like Palace, and its down to him. Will be smoking a cigar in his memory tonight

Blackpool at home 1974-75 I think. We'd not won a game and beforehand he guaranteed we would win. 1-0 up with 2 minutes to go....we lost 2-1. Paved the way for the Palace we know and love today! So many great memories of the time when football was still football and not the namby pamby 'tackling's too rough' Prima donna's of today.

Gave us ideas as a football club way above our station. Something we still suffer from today.
