Harris hasn't been to Europe either........what an interview If Trump stays on policies and failures of Biden and Dems he will win I don't think the swing states will go for a vacuous Commifornian, a l,ot of her past record will come out now from her time as " prosecutor ", she was an administrator for most of her time Edited by HKOwen (27 Jul 2024 11.22am)
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Point was made today that Zelensky is not allowed under Ukraine law to do a deal with Putin but is making noises behind the scenes as he realises kicking Russia out of all Ukraines territory pre 2014 is likely impossible and Ukraine cannot keep up the meatgrinder endlessly

BBC's thoughts on how Trump will go after Harris. It's not a bad assessment as they do acknowledge her short comings.

So transparently so it will fool nobody but those already determined to vote for Trump. They don’t matter in this election any more than the determined anti-Trumpers. Harris will bring out the youth vote. She will galvanise the urban female vote. She will swing some of the undecided independents. It may not be enough, but it could be. Which looks a whole lot better than it was only a few days ago. The majority of statements are factually correct. I’m not attributing any virtues to Trump or right wing media, but merely saying that dispite Joe addressing the nation with “would I lie to you the American people”, the Dems lie and cheat as well!!! Listin to media this is not the case as they are the virtuous party who can do or tell no evil.

In truth almost everyone alive could be at some time, over something. Politicians who hold power cannot sometimes tell the whole truth for reasons of national security or to avoid compromising an investigation. Opposition politicians lie to deceive and make promises that they know cannot be fulfilled. It’s all a matter of degrees and on what scale you value those degrees. Lies, as with beauty, are in the perception of the holder. So the question is not going to be whether one group or the other thinks the other is lying. They both will. It’s how the group in the middle react. If Harris can be presented as a fresher, younger and dynamic alternative to the old men of the recent past, get out the young and active female vote, then there is every chance that her baggage will prove less weighty than Trump’s.

So the dems were full blow lying when trump was the president as you just stated about the opposition. Trump being in power and I paraphrase you, was lying a little maybe to protect national security or not to compromise any investigations.

Accusations of lying doesn’t mean they are true. There is absolutely no need to tell lies about Trump. You have only to watch and listen to him to know that almost everything he says has little or no factual basis. So the Democrats aren’t lying about him. They are simply reporting on him. Lies can be told about many things. They can be excused if national security or investigations are involved but not when they involve everything that is said. Trump is an exceptional case who clearly has a poor grasp of reality. He seems to think that whatever he says, often on the spur of the moment, is true.

I don’t though think he does. I think he is misrepresenting what was said.
