Todys second download is a set by Journey that was recorded at the Record Plant in Sausalito, CA on the 12th May 1974. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. I've posted loads of boots and albums by Journey over the years and I've previously posted this show - but the version I posted previously had a couple of tracks missing - this is the complete show. Journey were formed by former members of Santana and Frumious Bandersnatch and had just released their first album when this show was recorded. If you like Journey - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. They are called W.A.S.P. and they are a heavy metal band that was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1982 and are still going today. There have been a few line up changes over the years and the only constant member is Blackie Lawless on bass/rhythm guitar. The quality of this boot is superb and the audio has been taken from the soundboard. If you like a bit of metal - then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a very recent set by The Cure that was recorded at the Austin City Limits Festival, Austin, Texas last Saturday the 12th October 2013. This is in superb quality - really top notch sound, with the audio being taken from the soundboard. A crackin' setlist by Robert Smith and his band - who are excellent. This is one of the best boots by The Cure I've heard - and I've got loads. If you like The Cure - I thoroughly recommend this one.... this is the mutts.... Todays second download is an acoustic set by Black Stone Cherry that was recorded at the British Music Experience, Planet Rock Studios, London on the 23rd May 2011. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. I've posted a few albums and bootlegs by BSC over the years but this is the first acoustic set. It may be acoustic - but these guys still rock big time. If you like Black Stone Cherry - this is thoroughly recommended..... Todays extra downlod is a set by Ellen Foley that was recorded at the Koninklijk Theater, Amsterdam on the 14th February 1980. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds top notch. Ellen became famous for the duet with Meat Loaf on the track "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" from the album "Bat Out Of Hell". She released her first solo album "Nightout" in 1979 which is the album she was touring in support of when this show was recorded. Ellen has also appeared with the Blue Oyster Cult on "Mirrors" and with The Clash on "Hitsville UK". This is a cracking set which really rocks big time - if you don't know Ellen Foley - I recommend you give this one a try!.... Here is a download link I found for :-
