All true but when the Democrat machine gets turning truth goes out the window and people get trampled on, even Joe will be left with footprints all over his back. It’s no more “all true” than any statement that Trump makes! Which is unsurprising given where it originates. It’s a propaganda hit piece from a right wing website. So transparently so it will fool nobody but those already determined to vote for Trump. They don’t matter in this election any more than the determined anti-Trumpers. Harris will bring out the youth vote. She will galvanise the urban female vote. She will swing some of the undecided independents. It may not be enough, but it could be. Which looks a whole lot better than it was only a few days ago.

I love the way that the Democrat supporting media are expunging previously reported facts to make her look better.

Trump doesn’t listen to anyone. He thinks he is a “stable genius” who has only to open his mouth for showers of wisdom to flow. Harris, like Biden and every other President in my lifetime, will listen to the experts before even thinking about making a decision or talking publicly about it.

I don’t think that’s in any way true. As well as not being Trump she isn’t Biden either! She is female, younger and coloured. She is stronger on Israel. Passionate about reproductive rights. An advocate with a quick mind and the ability to both know the answer before asking the question and the skill to know the right question. Optics matter. She won’t move many of the MAGA bunch but even fewer of the anti-Trump bunch will now move to him. It’s the relatively small bunch in the middle who matter and if enough of them do it should make the difference . Many of them are reluctant Trump voters, who seeing Biden as unfit to serve at 85 were making a choice they weren’t comfortable with. Now they have another choice. None of those factors helped her previous polling figures which were dismal.

The United States is a sick country and why we have their election foisted on us I do not understand. It is a news item in any other country and nothing more. To hear Trump calling Harris a 'bum' I had to switch off.

None of those factors helped her previous polling figures which were dismal. The key word there is “previous”! She wasn’t really being considered then as a genuine alternative. Everyone has something someone will think negatively about. Does Harris have more of them than Trump? On top of that she will now have the full weight of a party machine pulling for her, so those positives will be emphasised in the advertising to the target groups that matter. Convincing the already convinced or irretrievably hostile won’t happen and they can be left to blow as much wind and smoke as they like.

Because it impacts us. If Trump gets in quite significantly, especially if he pulls back from NATO and cosies up to Putin again.
