Edited by davenotamonkey (10 Jul 2017 5.50pm) The USA and today Australia have been clear that trade deals will not be negotiated until the UK is out of the EU.

It's obvious that a lot of detail can be done without officially starting the process. People aren't going to break agreements and say otherwise. All of this is just a lot of silly backbiting. The UK will enlarge its non EU trade massively. Unless it's in the customs union. How much that trade will increase none of us know right now. This is the thing.....No one really knows yet....We have to wait until about ten years after Brexit until a sensible verdict can be made......Sure we can gauge it along the way but in reality we need water to pass under the bridge first.

Shoppers would be forced to pay £3 more for a traditional British fry-up if the government fails to secure a trade deal with the EU, piling more pressure on already cash-strapped consumers.

Are you still here? Reading your stuff just makes me more and more happy I voted leave. If nothing else it gave the finger to people like you.

If voting leave means people like you are p1ssed off then it's already over-achieved. If Brexit is denied then whatever party makes that happen is going to pay a hell of a political price. Remain parties had very little support in the election.

Do you really think a system that records as a crime any 'incidents' reported, without any checks or evidence that they have actually taken place at all, is of any use other than a tool to be used for propaganda purposes? Even if these unproven claims were true, why should Brexit be the cause?

I agree with you but 55% voted for anti austerity parties and we've still got that. Big difference is perhaps papers like Brexit and don't care about austerity and even like it.
