Todays second download is a set by Motorhead that was recorded in East Queens, New York on the 10th August 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a Pre-FM broadcast on the famous King Biscuit Flower Hour radio show. This is only a short set - probably all that was broadcast. No "Ace Of Spades" on this one but Lemmy and the band play a wicked set... If you like Motorhead and Lemmy's gravel voice - then grab this one... Todays extra download is a set by EMF that was recorded at the London Astoria on the 5th June 2001. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted and I don't really know much about them. They have released 3 albums and have split up and reformed 3 times over the years. The name "EMF" is believed to be an abbreviation of "Epsom Mad Funkers" - it's rumoured that it really stands for "Electromotive Force" or "Ecstasy Mother Fukcers" - the band were signed to EMI/Parlaphone records after 4 gigs - without being asked for a demo tape (thanks Wiki). If you like EMF - then grab this one.... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Depeche Mode that was recorded just 3 days ago at the Austin City Limits Festival at Zilker Park, Austin, Texas. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a webcast and it sounds top notch. DM are touring in support of their new album "Delta Machine" which I posted on the 27th March this year. I've also posted a few shows from this current tour and if you downloaded and liked any of those - then give this one a try.... one for any fans of Depeche Mode - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Van Morrison that was recorded at the Fillmore West in San Francisco on the 9th October 1970. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch for a boot thats nearly 45 years old!. This bootleg is of the "Lost Treasures" that were unearthed in November 2010. The tape crossed the atlantic twice to end up in a professional studio to be transferred. Until now only few people knew that it existed and not even a handfull have listened to it. The boot contains the first known recorded live versions of : "I've Been Working" "Ballerina" "Domino" and a stunning longest known recording of Astral Weeks which lasts over 12 minutes!!. If you like VM - this is a MUST HAVE.... and then some... this is the mutts and is thoroughly recommended..... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. According to my files I've posted very little by Tesla over the years - only a couple of boots and albums. I will be making up for this oversight in the next month or so. In the meantime, if you like Tesla - then grab this show... it rocks and is thoroughly recommended... Todays first downlaod is a set by the Alan Parsons Project that was recorded on the bands tour in Germany in 1994. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard in all cases. Some classic tracks from the Pyramid album and Tales Of Mystery And Imagination album and also the Turn Of A Friendly Card album on this one. I've posted a few boots lately by TAPP - this is another top sounding show for the collection. This is a great cd and if you like The Alan Parsons Project - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. They are called Blue Murder and they were a sort of "Supergroup". The band featured Carmine Appice, Tony Franklin and John Sykes. Sykes was involved with Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake.. Franklin was involved with The Firm, Kate Bush, Roy Harper.. Carmen Appice has been with just about everyone. This is a cracking show with a wicked version of the Thin Lizzy classic "Dancing In The Moonlight". If you don't know ths band - give them a try... this is great stuff.... Todays extra download is a bootleg by Swedish rockers Graveyard that was recorded at two festivals between 2008 and 2013. They are both in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Disc 1 of the boot was recorded at the Roadburn Festival, NL on the 20th April 2008 and Disc 2 was recorded at the Werchter Festival in Belgium on the 4th July 2013. According to my files this is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. If you like Graveyard, grab this show..... this thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Atoms For Peace that was recorded in Austin, Texas as part of this years Austic City Limits Festival, in Austin, Texas on the 13th October 2013. This band are a "Supergroup" and are made up of Thom Yorke (Radiohead) Flea (RHCP) Nigel Goodrich (Radiohead Producer), Joey Waronker (Beck, REM) and Mauro Refosco (Forro In The Dark) - they have been together since 2009 and have released 1 album earlier this year called "Amok" (Which I've posted). This is the first bootleg by them that I've posted and it's a good one... very, very good. The sound quality is superb with the audio being taken from the soundboard and it sounds great. The final day of the ACL concert was cancelled due to heavy thunderstorms - so the band performed their set at Moody Theater, Austin, Texas. If you know and like this band, you are probably already grabbing this show - if you don't know them, give this a try... it's wicked!...
