The crap about Olise agreeing terms with chelsea is just that. It is against the rules to talk to a player without first agreeing terms with his club. Unless he is out of contract 6 months after after 1 Jan.
Oh come on, are you really that naive? We sold Ian Wright back in 1992 and our chairman at the time, Ron Noades, remarked that all the player's personal terms were agreed before Arsenal made a formal approach.

Those rules weren't in place then. Tapping up is considered one of the more significant business infractions a club can make. If a club is reported and found guilty of the activity, they can be handed financial punishments or even transfer window bans. Edited by The groover (28 Jul 2023 3.19pm)

No player looks at it like that, especially a PL player. He wouldnt have to wait until 2025, he knows Palace would sell him when he gets down to his last 12months and if not He'll have huge options on a free. Hopefully he see his future with Palace Edited by MonsterMunch (28 Jul 2023 3.27pm)

Buying a player that a rubbish team like Everton are desperate to get rid of plus an over hyped Brazilian that no-one really knows if he's any good doesn't make a good window in my eyes

This is worrying & i know its only click-bait, but, Eze, rejecting a new contract, plus Manure interest. Not good. But isn't this our modus operandi now? Hope he has an excellent season and that we get a bidding war for him next year. Who knows, by then the Saudi's may be in for players of his age/quality. Then reinvest wisely It is the player recruitment (plus deep pockets, of course) that is the key to a club's success more than the actual coaching of the side.

Edited by The groover (28 Jul 2023 3.19pm) Tapping up is one thing, but it would be madness to big for a player without first knowing they were up for a move.
