Still a British citizen though, however you spin it!

Is being English wrong compared to Welsh Scottish or Irish or pakistani or afghani or name it, first? Yes British but English and OK and proud. I would be on the beach if the UK were under attack like Ukraine. That still doesn't alter that I'm English though.

For the War to stop

Putin is demanding Ukraine to de-militarise & wants sovereignty over the Crimean Peninsula.

Zelensky has demanded all Russian military leave Ukraine

Thing is if you're winning a war you dont need to negotiate.

This campaign is really not going well for Russia, the fact it takes about 3 hours to drive from the Belarussian border to Kyiv & the Russians are dumping Tanks due to lack of fuel after literal months and months of planning & moving things into position is Biden levels of Afghan exit, its horrifically bad how inept Russian logistics are.

I am not surprised at £1.58 a litre Those things only do a couple of miles to the gallon, and don't talk to me about their carbon foot print how many trees do you need to plant per invasion.

It would be no time for sunning yourself, Cryrst!

Just kidding, I have no doubt you'd do your part if we were in the same situation as Ukraine. I think several here would!

The elites who have been spending their time hyping and traumatizing the population over covid with its 99 percent survival rate now don't want you to worry about being nuked and fried alive by Putin.

Just another day in clown world.

"Bulgaria to give Ukraine 14 Su-25 & 16 MiG-29 fighter jets, Poland will give it 28 MiG-29s & Slovakia will give it 12 MiG-29s. More importantly--given Russian missile strikes on military airbases--they can fly missions over Ukraine from Poland"

At the same time a massive 17 mile Russian convoy fast approaching Kyiv. It may be that helps comes too late. Time will tell.

Videos online today of an elderly couple who look to be shot to ribbons, and a Father, son and their dog mercilessly picked off. Two examples of countless other civilians being slayed. No doubt more 'denazification' in action.

Several thousands Russian protestors arrested. Russians burning their passports outside the Russian embassy in Warsaw. Can't blame them for not doing so in Russia, nor do I believe any of what is happening represents the interests or wants of typical Russian people.

If sorties against Russian troops are flown from Poland, regardless of who is in the cockpit, that elevates the conflict to include NATO.

My guess is that Putin is literally fighting for his life now, no accurate reports to assess but the general opinion is that Putin is isolated literally and figuratively.

May well see Putin having a fatal heart attack sooner rather than later

The narrative is like a movie script, mercenaries stalking Kyiv to find the President, battle hardened Chechyns used to stamping on civilian resistance being mobilised

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I'm similarly minded. There's good reason that he sits about 30 feet from even his most trusted advisors. If, amongst those around him, fear of wider consequence soon exceeds fear of Putin, as careful as he is, he may well end up meeting the same fate he's gifted countless others over the years. His unhinged clown behaviour has made Ukraine more, not less, of a threat to Russia for generations, regardless of any perceived victories over the coming days and weeks.

Though this man is likely speaking from a point of fear, there are several videos of Russian soldiers occupying areas looking completely perplexed at the reception they receive. Putin's indoctrination and betrayal of his own people is an additional unfortunately aspect of what is currently panning out. All wasted life, to the backdrop of a scared, paranoid man who calls himself a leader. Ironic that even a comedian turned politician has more guts and love of country than he does.

I understand your obvious dislike, but I'll take the comment as literal just because....well I suppose it's interesting to look and see just what Putin did academically and intellectually.

Putin comes from a working class background in Russia, however Putin studied law at the Leningrad State University graduating in 1975 before joining and rising though the ranks in the KGB.

He speaks two languages, German and English, other than Russian.
