That is entirely the opposite of what studies on the vaccine have demonstrated. Feel free to read them. In wide scale studies depending on vaccine and variant they cut actual infections by 60-90%.

As for Fury fighting I would imagine that there are a myriad of reasons why this would complicate things. His health, his opponents, insurance and so on. It's not optimal to agree to fight when for all he knows he might feel like hell in a few days, or at least not optimal. It's not ideal, but delaying the fight was inevitable.

So it doesn't stop you getting it then.
Look at the Lions match this weekend.
Was off because of a position test, but now back on after 2 negative tests following on.
Roll on the 19th when all this hopefully ends and we can get back to normal.

"It has no effect on infection." and "having the jab doesn't prevent you getting it" are significantly more removed from useful information than actually informing people of the facts as they are known.

edit: Removed rest of post after Toms comment. Let's just steer clear of anything other than what has happened, as in that fight has been postponed. The rights and wrongs of that won't change anything.

Tests aren't perfect and there will always be outliers, but clearly if multiple people in the camp have it, and I would assume that FLT and PCR tests are both positive for them, with those factors combined it's rather logical to suggest that it's a real issue they are currently dealing with.

I'm all for the 19th rolling on and have been getting on with life as normal myself. It is possible to do that without brainwashing yourself into churning out misinformation such as "It has no effect on infection" though. I was pointing out that the fight was off. It wasn't my personal decision, so you don't need to pile in with the usual half baked...

Rumours are going around that this is a convenient excuse to delay or call this off due to poor ticket and perceived PPV sales.

That's what Eddie Hearn suspects anyway.

For me I'm just disappointed that this isn't happening in July......boxing fans are so use to getting fecked around with the big fights this and last year....it's getting old.

You never know with boxing I suppose. To be honest I'm surprised that they didn't throw Wilder enough cash to go on his merry way (even if he was playing hardball), and go with the AJ fight instead.. as that's what the fans want to see. Certainly in comparison to Fury vs Wilder 3 anyway.

These guys are so rich that you sometimes suspect that the millions become secondary to their egos.
