This post has been merged from a topic called 'Is it Foolish to dismiss Ranieri? ' by Guntrisoft Our team seem to thrive under a disciplinarian, Ranieri allegedly is weak on discipline. I really don't think he fits our team at all.

Get super al back Wtf for? To win 1 game in every 6 and defenders to take their own training after the 2 attempts by him are thought inadequate amongst all our defenders? Yeah get him back asap.

Don't know why so many are big in up Dyche with his direct game while Monk has finished 8th with a decent Swansea team at the time. I'd take Monk over Dyche.not a popular choice but one I think is not the worse d in the world. Why do you think Monk was sacked by Swansea? We aren't a Championship club taking Premier cast offs. Getting a manager that a club wants to keep is a bit more ambitious.

Roger Schmidt Not good enough. Turned one of the most talented squads in the Bundesliga into lower end of the table dross. NickinOX mentioned him and Martin Schmidt. Martin Schmidt would be better but I am still far from convinced, Mainz have been absolutely awful this season, nearly went down despite being up against very poor opposition in the fight. Lots of Bundesliga coaches are mentioned but the football is very different, the job description is too and there is a gulf in quality between the top two or three Bundesliga sides and the rest. Signing a mid table Bundesliga coach would be a disaster IMHO. Klopp is massively overrated too IMO and will be found out, mark my words.

Like the England manager and assistant? Benteke, Cabaye, zaha with a five year contract? Even Mandanda is one of the biggest goalkeeper names in the world. We've only been in the premier league 4 seasons, got a s*** ground, never won a major trophy so to attract these kind of people I'd say the chairman hasn't done too bad wouldn't you?

Watford had two more weeks on us to secure Silva. Yes, from what I've told we had talks but we also (and rightly) wanted to talk to others. Silva wasn't willing to wait for the palace job, lose out on Watford and come away with nothing. It's true also that silva was offered more money at Watford. So what?! I'm sure Parish will have upped the offer if silva blew him away. He clearly didn't. Parish and the board will take their time which is the right thing to do. Laddo you talk a lot of sense, keep us posted!

I think Dyche is a backward step as I say he'll only attract the Joey Bartons of this world.hardly the manager we are looking for as we get ready for our 5th season in the prem. As I say his an ok manager but we've moved on and need someone better than Dyche.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft I really there is nothing in this, we need a much more astute manager. Burnley only won one game way from home and that was against us when we had had 3 best defenders out.
