Surely having integrity includes living within your means and being prepared for emergencies? As opposed to those frivolous spendthrifts who fritter their minimum wage on pointless luxuries. The ones you meet aren't living in housing projects or trailer parks are they? According to the US census 37.9 m people live below the poverty line - how many of them do you meet?

It’s a much lower % than we have here and they tend to be somewhat invisible too, although I have witnessed some who regularly use food banks whilst still watching mega big TVs and using very expensive phones. It’s also a question of where that line is drawn.

Do they really need to live from payday to payday or are they just over consuming and not preparing for the rainy days? Many seem to and then complain whenever there is an economic downturn, blaming everybody else but themselves.

I am not addressing them. I am addressing those who deliberately spend up to the limits on things they don’t really need and then complain when things turn down. People who buy expensive cars on credit just to show off, or designer shoes or handbags for the labels. People who max their credit cards just because they can.

How much longer is Biden going to cling on for ? He is wrecking the Democrats chances completely.

Trump by contrast has had the kind of lucky streak that if Palace have it next season we will do a Leicester. His performance during his last 4 years, especially in his behaviour when he lost in 2020, and all the indictments/convictions are now being obscured or overlooked. Trump has just told another of his big lies, claiming that the last few weeks are a triumph for democracy when in fact Trump is the walking evidence of someone who refuses to acknowledge democracy. Getting Covid was a marvellous way of hiding him away for a few days. Maybe it will be so bad, he has to step aside. Meanwhile, in Trumpsville, ear bandages are all the rage at a piece. It does appear that it is only a matter of time before the curtain comes down on his Presidency and that 'The Donald' will face another opponent in the election. I am not a supporter of Joe Biden but I wish him well.

If Biden was serious in anyway about the words of unity he speaks then he would have fired the head of the secret service straight away. But that would have been the intelligent move and unfortunately his administration has a track record for the exact opposite.
