Todays first download is a bootleg by Neil Young that is really two shows in one. This bootleg contains the concerts that NY did for the Farm Aid Charity in 2010 and 2011. These are in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the shows and sounds top notch. I've posted loads and loads of boots and albums by NY over the years - this is another top addition to the collection. Some great tracks on these shows - which if you like Neil Young are thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is 4 disc bootleg set by Blackfoot. These have been recorded for FM radio on the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio show and Westwood One FM. These are in superb quality and sound top notch. I've posted a number of bootlegs by Blackfoot over the years and this is another top boot for the collection. If you like a bit of southern rock - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by the Grateful Dead that was recorded at MSG in New York on the 19th September 1987. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've only recently started posting boots by GD and I recently posted a couple. There are loads and loads of Grateful Dead boots on the web - this is because of the bands policy of allowing the audience to record their shows as long as they were not for sale and for fans use only. This is a cracking show with a top setlist and if you like the Grateful Dead you will want this one.... Todays extra download is a set by Calexico that was recorded at the Sziget Festival, Hungary on the 9th August 2013. This is in superb quality with the audio being taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've only posted a few boots by this band over the years - they seem to be quite rare in good quality. This is a good one and if you like Calexico - you will want this one... I recently posted a double bootleg featuring the sets by NY from the 2011 & 2012 Farm Aid sets - so when I saw this years I immediately grabbed it. This is great stuff and if you like Neil Young, this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second down is a set from this years Rock In Rio Festival in Brazil. This is the set by Florence and the Machine which was recorded on the 14th of this month and is in top quality - the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots by FATM already this year - they have been doing most of the summer festivals. If you like Florence ATM then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended.... This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the third bootleg by this band that I've posted - and none of the bands studio released albums. If you like Meat Puppets - this is thoroughly recommended..... Todays first download is a bootleg by the Alan Parsons Project that contains a selection of tracks recorded on the bands 2013 tour. These are in superb quality - really fantastic sound - with the audio being taken from the soundboard ad the mix is perfect. The band is backed by an orchestra for the track "Silence And I" which was recorded in Medellin. This is a wicked boot and if you like Alan Parsons Project I thoroughly recommend this one... and then some!....
