Politician tells lies. Hmmmmmmmmm....now let me think...

Of course they do, sometimes the truth cannot be told. However, they more often stretch the truth or mislead by omission.

Trump just lies. Makes claims that are simply untrue, not exaggerations or distortions. He invents these to suit the prejudices of his audience, often doing so in the moment.

Trump is bs on fire. There are times when bs can be very entertaining and spark lively banter, but not when a group of obsessed sycophants regard the oratory as coming from the mouth of a demigod. Then it’s believed, repeated and very dangerous.

This assumes Americans, his supporters anyway, don't know he's not being truthful. They do and they don't care since they didn't think his presidency was such a disaster.

They have the binary choice of worse off/ more of the same with Biden (will it be Biden?). Or slightly better off with Trump. I meet a lot of Americans and every one has said the same. Well, I have met a couple of Trump haters too - but the vast majority. The last Trump hater I met was a they. Quite cute though - looked like Miley Cyrus but as I look like a bald Worzil Gummage then perhaps it explains why I refrained from convincing her/ them/ it.

That might fall into the category of too much information.

Pick a day when Biden will announce he is not seeking another term on medical advice.

I pick Tuesday morning Washington time

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Why would that be? If you are referring to me with your sarcasm then neither do I, nor anyone else here, so far as I am aware, regard me in the same way Trump is seen by a large group in the USA.

The fact that some here get annoyed with my postings says so much more about them than ever it does about me. It’s really amusing to observe.

I suspect many indeed don’t care, which doesn’t say a lot for their integrity does it?

More importantly I think it’s the lack of worldliness which makes them introverted and solely concerned with the short term impacts of how things are for them personally that causes them to overlook, or even not recognise, the longer term dangers.

Their integrity isn't as much of an issue when one survey reckoned 78% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.

You think so?

Most Americans I have had anything to do with aren’t short of money. Not by most people’s standards anyway. They just consume a lot without thinking about tomorrow.

Surely having integrity includes living within your means and being prepared for emergencies?

Everyone's poorer since Biden's been in, or has your shopping and bills not gone up? Same in the US.
