Occupation omg what a total misuse of words. If it was an occupation it lasted about an hour. Borat lasted longer! It's their little coup fantasy.....though they kind of like actual real coups elsewhere in the world. We just let them dibble on, in a few months it won't matter. Trump will release some January 6th people, who in some cases have been kept in solitary confinement by these resentful clowns. Hopefully he releases all the proud boys too. He'll need them for all the rioting their Antifa foot soldiers are going to do. Edited by Stirlingsays (19 Jul 2024 10.22pm)

Blimey I didn't think ones obsession with Trump could get any worse. How wrong I was and as it gets closer to November it's only going to get worse.

The rioters weren’t invited to violently force entry and threaten the lawmakers so they had to retreat to an inner sanctum! Whether it lasted a minute or a year doesn’t change that. What matters is that they did it, inspired by Trump’s totally false claims about the election being “stolen”! Yet this man is not only allowed to stand again, avoid being prosecuted for his involvement through delaying tactics but also seems to have his lies believed by large numbers in the USA. What a situation they have got themselves into.

Anyone who cannot see the danger this man poses to all of us, not just to those in the USA, are the ones who are truly delusional over Trump! Just parroting one of Trump’s many silly ideas doesn’t change that. You cannot just sit back and wait. Trump isn’t just a politician you don’t like. They are easy to ignore. Trump is very special and uniquely dangerous. To dismiss those fears as “TDS” is exactly what Trump wants you to do. He is orchestrating the masses and you are bouncing to his beat.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

This interview between Bill O’Reilly & Jon Stewart illustrates how political discourse between the American left and right is possible and can be cordial. The underlying problem is that this discourse isn't profitable for media corporations. Money tends to be the root of most evils as the ancient wisdom tell us.

Nobody should ever forget what a habitual liar Trump is. He lies all the time and sees no shame in it. He often appears to just make things up which suit the moment. This needs to be exposed and discussed every time or the lies become accepted as truths. Just as they have been in the USA and by some here. He lied during his speech yesterday:- Has there ever been a politician who has ever come close to being this bad? If anyone thinks so, let’s see who it is. Not on policies, they are always a matter of opinion, but on telling the truth. Politician tells lies. Hmmmmmmmmm....now let me think...

What is it you know that others don’t, I mean 80 million yanks can’t all be stupid. Who around the world really backs Trump, unless they see the division and destruction of the USA as a benefit? Like Putin? Others know they have to make the best of it so go out of their way to try to keep him onside and to mitigate the damage he might cause. The time you will hear what they really thought will be in 2029, unless he finds some way to avoid being removed, or has installed another member of his family. So take all the nice words with a huge dose of salt. Even Lammy has been making conciliatory noises. 80 million yanks aren’t stupid, but a proportion of them seem to be either very naive or ridiculously impressionable. Others face an almost impossible choice between two unsuitable candidates. Which is why replacing Biden was so important and why not having the mechanism to do it demonstrates the frailty of their system.
