Given his very obvious failings and the way a large chunk of the US voters seem prepared to ignore them he would need to do something heinous in their eyes now. What that might be is difficult to imagine because we don’t think like them. Or rather most of us don’t. Insult Jesus? Support abortion? We know all politicians stretch the truth but Trump openly tells complete lies, yet they still love him. I don’t get this idea that the Democrats are responsible for making him popular. I think they have been pretty restrained in their treatment of him, given his behaviour. If it was down to me I would not hold back at all.

Breaking the rules in any online forum carries penalties. Even if they aren’t always exercised. It was the minimum that should have been done.

Nobody should ever forget what a habitual liar Trump is. He lies all the time and sees no shame in it. He often appears to just make things up which suit the moment. This needs to be exposed and discussed every time or the lies become accepted as truths. Just as they have been in the USA and by some here. He lied during his speech yesterday:- Has there ever been a politician who has ever come close to being this bad? If anyone thinks so, let’s see who it is. Not on policies, they are always a matter of opinion, but on telling the truth.
