Not really. Tuna and Salmon we need from abroad as well as cod. But how mental is the system? We import Atlantic cod from China that's how crazy it is. We do have an incredible resource and there is opportunity but the Fisheries Industry just hasn't got a very good record with its management of it and I include the EU in that though there more recent directives have lead to a North Sea Cod recovery. If the Ministry in charge had Green types at the helm then 'yes' it could work up to a point otherwise it will just go back to being how bad it was again. No fish left. It's just your usual anti-British rhetoric - we are incapable of running our own affairs and need those wise and wonderful EU bureaucrats to do it fer us.

Your prolonged naivety and forgetfulness is amazing. Of course for some areas we do. The EU anti-pollution laws have worked very well, for example. Our country was filthy a few decades back. Some Food standard regs too which could go out of the window when we sign a free-trade deal with the U.S. They use some very dodgy processes that are banned over here at the moment but highly likely won't be after the deal is signed. There are plenty of other areas the EU has helped us with due to our...yes...inability to self-manage properly. Those at the top just don't have the will you see. It needs to be forced upon them legally. If you had travelled more you would see how other countries manage some things better than us.

That one made me laugh out loud - stay in the EU or we will have dirty streets!

Where I live in Croydon its all take-aways and restaurants but little or no rubbish, a far cry from what used to be, train journeys were best avoided. The reduction in smoking has helped but I think that local authorities being compelled by law to clean up has made the difference.

I already know you are happy to destroy social cohesion and accept increased levels of terrorism if it suits your ideals of cultural Marxism. Just a little note...if you want to go down that road....the German economy....wasn't built upon the Corbyn model.

Hence us actually being able to place restrictions on EU migrants but choosing not to. Anyone who thinks us leaving the EU will result in a magical and substantial decrease in migration has something very different coming to them. Especially with the undeniable economic volatility we're in for over the next however long, but that's okay "we'll be okay in the end".
