Fair enough. I agree on that. Well free fibre broadband, anyway. Not sure where the free wi-fi part comes into it.

They should have just gone with making sure every household has the ability to connect to a fibre connection. Still expensive, but much more practical.

McDonnell in the radio said shareholders would get government bonds for their dividends from openreach.
Currently at 2% PA
Dividends currently app 7%
Sounds like a bargain to me !
Although the government dividend can go up or down as decided by.....
The government.
Also this is a 10 year plan.
What happens if they get in power and fixed term 5 years then get voted out! Which they will.
The plot thickens as to whether there is a hidden agenda about fixed term parliament in my mind.
The government with a majority can change laws.
Be afraid, be very afraid.

If you live out in the country, probably have mains gas and sewerage would rate marginally higher than fibre....

Not so sure. Labour has to get out younger voters if it is to stand any chance. This is the kind of bribe, and let's be honest about what it is, that might grab their attention given how much of their lives are spent online these days. I reckon there might be a something similar touted about mobile phone data at some stage soon. Not sure how might word that one but shiny tech presents have an impact.

Credit where it is due, Labour might have a hook here.

That's possibly the target audience, but I do think nowadays most younger people access the internet on mobiles via data allowance, so I'm not sure how much it appeals really. But I get your point that just because somethings playing badly in the media, it doesn't mean that voters within specific demographics feel the same way about it.

People in the country are still waiting for mains gas and sewerage. Since '45 the Tories have been in control for 60% of the time. What have they been doing?

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel "£250,000 is chicken feed" Johnson's new (worse) deal has taken working right's protection out of his deal.

The Tories have had 7 secret meetings with drug companies in US about drug prices in NHS. Our are much lower.

The US workers have no right to paid maternity leave.
No right to holidays although the average is two weeks.
People in the United States work among the longest hours per week in the industrialized world, and have the least annual leave. This is the Tory BREXIT dream

Johnson is playing the friend of the people while he is funded by big business who resent the dent decent working rights make on there profits. Look at how ASDA working rights have been attacked since thy were taken over by Wallmart.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

You, along with many, should've been afraid when the time came that one average wage could no longer support one average family.
But you never asked why. And sadly you still won't.

But you really should.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
