I have signed all the petitions, e mailed Khan & received typical politician responses from his cohorts.
What stands out with the ULEZ debacle is how in this modern era & with lessons learnt in history how have we allowed a man with obvious power lust to be given sole control of London’s to do what he pleases.
A modern day dictator at the heart of London and the Government has let it happen & does nothing to remedy the situation.
If it was not for a handful of boroughs and the non compliant ULEZ car people rising up, not quite like the French, there would be no hope.
Hopefully next week the Judicial system will see sense & prove Khan has been manipulating the figures to suit his super tax & the expansion will be at least delayed.
My hope is then by May the Tories have a suitable candidate, win & some sort of reality will return.
The power to run London without consultation needs to be revoked whoever wins.
I can but dream!

He'll bet re-elected, but it won't be due to the lack of credible opponents. It'll be because of the demographic of London voters.

The same reason Diane Abbott was the Hackney MP for so long.

He will continue on his merry woke racist, anti car , anti average white van Londoner way.

Having to pay money for the school run doesn't I suspect affect Sadick's key support.

I see no way London will ever have a non Labour mayor again.

The per tax capita income from London will reduce as the population becomes poorer per capita and will reach a point where the income cannot fund the services local councils are legally obliged to provide.

Yet Sadick is prancing around talking rubbish about legalising cannabis and celebrating Travellers and Gypsy Day etc.

London is fooked

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Ans yet "his people" are probably hit harder by his anti car agenda, hopefully they will wake up to this.

It often amuses me how those in charge scrabble around to find sources of funds for supposedly worthwhile schemes. Invariably the money just becomes part of an income stream which then gets dispersed to fill up the gaps in funding elsewhere. I would laugh hysterically if by chance everybody suddenly drove compliant vehicles, or stopped driving into London altogether. What would fill the hole if the £200 million suddenly stopped? The same argument applies to the revenue achieved from petrol and diesel. The Government relies on these taxes, so I wait with anticipation what will happen post 2030...

The same as when electric vehicles pay road tax from 2025.
Green, gimmick and greedy begin with the same letter

A comedian in a Boris wig should stand. By far preferable to the unfunny current comedian.

Go buy a cheap non conforming car, then transfer ownership of it to Khan at transport for London address and drive around inside the zone whenever you want.

You'll probably get ten years in prison whilst a serial burglar walks free, or murderer, or rapist.
