Take time yes and in the meantime we are in limbo with no preparation taking place for the hard season ahead, we do not have time, yes we need the right manager but we do not want him to sign two weeks before the start of the new season do we, when all the good players who were available have signed up for our opponents and we are then left to choose from those who are not wanted by anybody else or they have sick notes when they arrive like in the past?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft From Burnley boards about dyche to us 'Hopefully, blessing in disguise IMO. We would finally rid our club of the horrible hoofball disease. I hate the fact we have now stained our club by accepting this football. The PL is watched worldwide, we will be stuck with the stereotypical hoofball rubbish club tag for a very long time.'
'If Dyche left us and went to another EPL club he would have to change his style of play. I can't see many other clubs supporters putting up with the style and standard of football we watch week in, week out.

Yes that's the worry and, in the meantime, the more decisive steal off our plate. Sometimes it pays to decide what you want and go out and get it, without farting about. Edited by bexleydave (27 May 2017 5.29pm) Maybe this has something to do with it.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft Well whether it's good for them depends who they get instead. Monk would be a downgrade of course. Dyche at Palace depends on whether he can rise to the opportunity of flair players and recruit well, or carry on doing what he was doing at Burnley. Has he reached his potential yet or can he still grow?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft Don't know why so many are big in up Dyche with his direct game while Monk has finished 8th with a decent Swansea team at the time. I'd take Monk over Dyche.not a popular choice but one I think is not the worse d in the world.

Personally I'd like Brendan Rogers, if he felt he wanted another crack at the PL. He actually had a record on par with Klopps at Liverpool and did well at the Swans. Other than the CL there is little left in the way of competition for him in Scotland. Failing that I would like Mancini. It might not work, but he would at least have the draw for some quality foreign players of we have a reasonable transfer kitty. Although the names mentioned from the Championship could have potential I think it's too big a risk for us at the moment. If the club had time to review their progress thoroughly then it might work, but Parish doesn't have that time on his hands (again) and so I think a more experienced manager is necessary.
