I want a BOSS goalie. Understand? A B.O.S.S. goalie. WH (God love him), is NOT A BOSS goalie. I want a metal case dominator. A NUTTER. A SHOUTER. An ANGRY PERSON. A John Burridge. Hart, even with any poor form of late, is a Bossman nutter goalie and THAT'S what I want. I want a Sahko but a goalie Sahko. Ok? I may not get it. But that's what I want and that's what WH (God love him), AINT.

I think I'm going to write a book about how much certain posters on HOL know about goalkeeping. It won't take long because it will have just one blank page.

I have been a 'pro' Henessey body for some time. Brentmeister's obsession of Wayne bashing is unhealthy, obsessive and probably biased. However, he should and could have saved both goals against United. He really needs to up his game. His throws, kicks, height and experience is helpful. He is improving. He is good. He needs to be great.

The first goal was perfectly placed inside the far post and the second £80 million Paul Pogba was left clear on goal from six yards out, he ain't gonna miss from there just as Wilf and PVA didn't against Hull.

His distribution is woeful, his positioning suspect, very slow to get down to low shots (his size ironically is a hindrance here), his decision making is poor. Even his shot stopping which at times looks decent, are actually parried back into the danger area. He's a number 2. End of. I don't like slagging off players and appreciate he's a good lad. But a serious upgrade is needed for what is arguably one of the most important positions at a football club.

Like many have said, Wayne is in essence a number 2 anyhow. Unfortunately mandanda hasn't settled. I agree about Jordan Pickford though. 30m! Don't make me laugh! We should either go for Stockdale on a free, Begovic or I think Scezney would be a good shout. I really like the Sheffield Wednesday keeper too. Forget his name though, used to play for Sunderland.

For the billionth time, he's had an OK season. Some poor performances such as Chelsea at home, and some good ones such as Chelsea away. Yes we could improve on him, but nearly all the top clubs are looking for new keepers so there is little or no chance we could get Pickford or Begovic, and in any case Sunderland are quoting £30m for Pickford. As was said above, if WH had let in Willian's shot yesterday he'd have been pillories on here as usual. Yesterday's defeat cost us £1.9m in prize money and so reduces the budget that Sam will have at his disposal. I imagine there are other positions of greater importance to him before he gets to the keeper. what did he do wrong against Chelsea at home? Costa nipped in between the 2 centre halves - as they only had 1 man to mark between the two of them surely they were at fault. In 2nd half he produced a number of great saves to keep the score down as the rest of the team struggled. Yet we lost the game because of Wayne??

Simon mignolet- personally think he's a good gk. he gets very exposed at Liverpool with their attacking intent. He wouldn't be more than 10m in my opinion. With Liverpool looking to sign a goalie.

Because he was slow to react to the first (his positioning was also out) I have watched 6 times on replay and he could see the ball. The second went through his legs. In fact he nearly sat on it! Of whacked in the nutts! Finally, I am a fan. I think he is a good keeper, very good. I don't bash him. He was great at Chelsea. Should have played Jules on Sunday in my opinion .
