It's more like a communist state.
Remember when it first started with hospitals over flowing, people in corridors? None of that anymore.
This all stinks.

Maybe she's one of the many people who have no job to return to, since this lockdown 2 is the final straw for many small businesses. Therefore, she has the time to look after her mother for the rest of her remaining life.

Shes a nurse or ex nurse and is 72.
Why not take her mother out when she retired
Why wait until now. If she hasnt got the correct safety systems in place then her mum could be in danger. Aside of the potential to take C19 back to the home when she realises she cannot cope.

There was a report of assault by staff employees.
The police had to attend and released her without charge so she wasnt arrested really. She was removed from the scene.
What actually happened we dont know, again we are fed a narrative which helps to dis any and anyone in authority.
Maybe we need a purge!

Well worth a watch

Remarkable.
Brave girl.
I suspect there are many working for the same employer who are itching to spread the word.

You assume that she was retired. You think she may put her mother in danger, assuming that she hasn't put in the safety systems. And you assume that she has not had a test to assess if she has the virus. Now though, with this arrest, we have a frightened elderly person, who is more likely to get infected due to the arrest, being taken back to be alone from her family, who she may never see again, and possibly infect the rest of the residents. You make a lot of assumtions but can't see anything other than her realising that she cannot cope. She was a nurse. How would she not cope?

Her daughter was on the wireless this morning.
Saying basically that nan walked back in to the home right as rain and not phased. She also admitted her mum and her didnt really consider the duty of care about safety. I didnt hear whether she was retired or not so she could still be working.
How she could care for her mum is strange if it was the case! Read what's written and it may not be the actual truth. Hearing it first hand puts it in perspective. My main question earlier was if they are that desperate why not remove the nan years ago. Why wait until it is nearly impossible. I would guess it's not cheap or easy to look after a person with dementia so to me it seems like the family wants to run with the hound and play with the fox.

If the purpose of lockdown was to ensure the NHS doesn't get overrun. Currently, we have plenty of capacity of COVID patients whilst mental health services (amongst others) are completely overrun. Surely lockdown is having an adverse affect on the NHS rather than protecting it.

I didn't hear that interview. But on digging further there seems to be more this. It seems that the daughter has power of attourney over her mother's finances but not her health. Which raises more questions. But my point really is, if you can look after your own family, you should be allowed to. If there are fees involved, even more so.
